For the price, this was a great place to stay with dogs. The house was what I was expecting. Yes, there’s a stair between one side of the house and the other, obviously where the house was expanded. Not a big deal for us. The backyard was perfect for my dogs and plenty of waste bags were made available (thank you!). The owner was extremely responsive. The coffee maker didn’t work and we had a new one in less than a couple hours—super fast response! The dishwasher wasn’t working but for us, we weren’t cooking so hand washing a few cups and utensils were not a big deal at all. If you’re a light sleeper, you may have a hard time sleeping in the front bedroom although you can hear traffic from both bedrooms (the road is a truck route). There is a white noise machine to help drowned out the road noise. The good news is that semi/dump trucks aren’t really running late at night until early in the morning, so sleeping in was my only challenge. One morning they started rolling at 6:30am and another at 5am. But I’m a super light sleeper (I always listen to white noise to help) and I just know I wake up at any kind of noise. The snacks and coffee options were great. The bathroom is cute. The beds are comfortable. The patio table and chairs were very enjoyable. I had my coffee on the patio while I read a book and my dogs ran around the yard. Location was fantastic to walk to all the downtown eating and shopping options. I jogged daily and felt really safe running in the neighborhood.
