“My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Owl's Nest for our anniversary get away. It's ideally located for access to Rainier, especially in the winter months when other gates are closed. The spot is modest, but accurate with listing details. We were a bit concerned about privacy since you can tell the listing is above another space, but it is just an empty barn/garage, so that's ended up being no concern. “We loved our room. It was a peaceful retreat from all the commotion during the Packwood Flea Market. We enjoyed cracking the windows and hearing live music from Packwood Brewing in the afternoons. Very clean and cozy. We felt right at home”

“Really enjoyed my stay here, the studio has all the essentials especially for cooking and plenty of extra toiletries, linens, and towels. Location was excellent for my trip to Mt Rainier, took less than 10 minutes to get into the park!”

“The owls nest was a very cute, comfortable place to stay. We were spending a couple of days in the Mt Ranier park and the owls nest was just minutes from the park entrance. Spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. It had a private hot tub and we had a great restful stay. ”

“The hotel itself is quite old and charming in its own way. However, this is really not a hotel more of a old bed and breakfast converted into a Hotel. The floors are old and creaking and the walls are thin. So any activity outside your room is very audible and can be disturbing. The room itslef despite recent renovations still feels quite dated and more like a bedroom in a house not a hotel room. Think small and utilitarian not lavish and roomy. No common things like a TV, alarm clock, etc....

“Though it was a shared bathroom, it was only shared by two rooms so there was no contention. Everything was quite clean. The decorating was historic and interesting. I loved the library.”
