This cabin was way overpriced for what it delivers. It needs a good deep clean and some regular maintenance. I can see the potential as the front room was nice and open, but everything felt beat up and dingy. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and on wheels with cheap slippery sheets. The shower pan in one of the bathrooms was uneven which caused some drainage issues. When we arrived, the hot tub cover was off, on the ground, and broken in half. It took some maneuvering and muscle to get it back onto the hot tub. The bedrooms are extremely small, and the doorways to enter the bedrooms were very low. If you are over 6ft you have to duck to enter the bedroom, so it almost feels like an RV. There is a musty odor in the home. The wood stove had potential, but it hardly puts out any heat when lit. There was also no kindling or fire starter provided, so bring some if you do end up staying here. Overall, it just wasn't worth what we paid. We have stayed in a number of vacation homes, and unfortunately this one did not meet our expectations.

The property is very welcoming, quaint and clean! The decorations are adorable, the outside fire pit is perfect for s’mores, and the kitchen is well equipped with basic needs. The hosts were very welcoming and answered any questions I had. My friends and I stayed here to hike the park - it’s about an hour drive to the closest entrance. The little town with the restaurants and bars near the property are very cute and tasty! I would highly recommend this property for a place to stay !

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and then proximity to Mt. Rainier NP. We had a minor issue with the cleaning prior to our stay but the host worked with us to get it resolved within the first 24 hrs. Overall a great property and great experience!

Had fun!

The Perch was cozy & offered lots of amenities...washer & dryer...WiFi. Every night we grilled out. The kids stayed up in the loft & it was nice to have 2 bathrooms with showers. Showers were tight, but worked with warm water. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking all day, felt really good! Thank you!

Great Time

It was a great fit for what we needed to have a couple days to ski at White Pass with our 2 kids. There were a couple of issues that came up and it was taken care of in a reasonable amount of time.

Not clean enough for the price

The pictures looked so pretty, but in real life, it was definitely not worth how much we paid for it. It was very rustic, and very cold no matter how much we tried to heat the place. Beds were too hard for us. My husband had to sleep on the couch.

It could be improved

The cabin was quite cozy overall, quiet neighborhood. Saw lots of elk in the front yard one morning. Hot tub was nice. Wood storage well stocked. The bed by the back door is where I slept, it seemed to have a dip in the center as I couldn't help but roll into it. The mini split does not work for heat. We turned it on and left, came back and it was 58 inside, was set to 70.all the wood was completely soaked so getting fires going was almost impossible. I had to split a bunch to get a lot of small pieces for them to even catch. I would make sure you have plenty split into smaller chunks before the night sets in. The wood stove seems to have too small of a fresh air intake as well, I had to keep the door cracked a bit to keep it going.

Unexpectedly lengthy and intrusive check-in process

Upon arrival, we were subjected to an unnecessary and time-consuming verification procedure, including biometrics, requested by the manager. This excessive security measure felt invasive and set an unwelcome tone for our stay. The overzealous entry procedure significantly dampened our enthusiasm. It felt at odds with the relaxed atmosphere we were expecting. While the property's amenities and location have potential, the management's approach to guest verification needs serious reconsideration. This unnecessary hurdle at check-in unfortunately overshadowed the positive aspects of our brief stay.

This is a very clean, cozy property and was perfect for my stay. Upon arrival, elk were grazing in the front yard, which was a nice little welcome. The host was also very responsive and encourages guests to reach out with any questions or problems
