“Jenny is a wonderful host. The home is well furnished and has a welcoming feeling. The bedrooms are at opposite ends for maximum privacy. “This was a great house. I was worried based on other reviews, but we had no issues. It was clean, had comfortable furniture, beds, and pillows, and lots of fluffy towels. You can tell it’s an older home, but it is taken care of. Also available for guests - a cooler, laundry detergent, coffee grounds, powder creamer, and tea bags, which was really appreciated since we only were staying one night and this meant we didn’t have to buy those things. “The Retreat was a great stay for our family of 6. After a days hike, the house was cool and comfortable. Everyone slept great. My son loved the games at the house. The house was very clean and new.
