“Lovely safari tent and facilities though not as secluded as we had thought. Clean and cosy Some treats available like tea, coffee, hot choc powder, some cereal, milk and a block of chocolate and salt and pepper. The vegetation around the tent was a little wild but the owners did mention that due to the weather they had not had the opportunity to mow or tidy up. Comfortable bed, lovely shower and outdoor bathtub. ”

“Compared to other "Bach" stays, this one requires you to provide your own linens and towels. House hasn't been updated, and had a very rustic feel. Not what we were expecting. ”

“A fabulous holiday, an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The access to the beach, the beach itself. The magnificent windows to the view & the house had pretty much all you could need aside from a bit more outside furniture choice. “We had a fabulous stay at David’s. I’ve never experienced such hospitality and helpfulness. There was ample breakfast items, a lovely bottle of wine for us and everything we could need. The view from the patio front deck was beautiful too. Then the icing on the cake was David’s family driving us and picking us up from Waipu Cove as I couldn’t book a taxi. Thanks so much, my mum had the best stay and won’t stop talking about it! ”

“This is a great little escape. The pod was lovely and had a great view (waking up to the natural sunrise was lovely). The outdoor toilet and shower were also very clean. Kitchen is basic but had everything we needed. Loved eating our dinner outside under the Milky Way. Would recommend and perfect little escape from the city. ”

“Lovely accommodating host. Provided fresh free range eggs and fruits from the property, and welcomed us to help ourselves to fruits/ veges from the garden and eggs from the chickens.Spa pool wasn't available while we were there, possibly due to the recent adverse weather conditions. Spacious home, possibly mid-reno in places so there's a mix of older and newer features - needed a little fiddling with the older shower to achieve a comfortable water temp.Plenty of space for 13 of us, kids loved...
