“First off, I cannot fault the host, Marie, who was warm and welcoming when we arrived and was quick to respond to any issues we had during our stay. The property is very much as per the pictures in the listing with the upstairs being light and airy but the downstairs is rather dark. Although we didn't use it, the games room looked like it could be fun and give older children a space of their own. The pool is great. “The house, though not state of the art, was okay. Everything we needed was available. The rooms are spacious as the kitchen is. The garden was so beautiful. We couldn't stop watching (we were at the right time I suppose). Flowers were still blooming and there was an abbundance of fruit and vegetables we were allowed to use. This and the absolute silence was overwhelming.The environment of the estate is beautiful and quiet as well. Ghislaine is a very nice host. Present when needed. ”
