Rural House "La Barraca de Farena" Near the Beach in Palafrugell

Nestled in the heart of the Costa Brava, La Barraca de Farena is a charming country cottage surrounded by nature. Located just 1 km from Palafrugell and 1.5 km from the idyllic beaches of Llafranc, Calella, and Tamariu, it offers a private garden of 8,500 m² (with 4,000 m² fully fenced)—the perfect spot to unwind, relax in the hammock, or enjoy the sunset. Open year-round, it accommodates up to 4 guests and 2 pets (for an extra fee). For community reasons, the house is not rented to guests under 25 and parties are not allowed.



The 60 m² house (plus a 15 m² porch) features a kitchen-dining area with full cookware, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. The bathroom has a shower with screen, washing machine, iron, and hairdryer. The bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed (cribs and high chairs available on request). The living room includes a double sofa bed, TV, DVD, high-speed Wi-Fi, pellet stove, fireplace, and ceiling fans throughout. Free private parking is available.



Outdoors, you’ll find garden furniture, sun loungers, outdoor shower, and a storage room for up to 2 bicycles or for bike rental (for an extra fee) to reach the beaches via local trails. Enjoy water sports like diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming. Don’t miss the Sunday market in Palafrugell for fresh produce. Stroll the old town, visit Sant Martí church, Plaça Nova, or the historic Centre Fraternal. Nearby, discover dog-friendly beaches, the Cork Museum, or the Vila Casas Contemporary Sculpture Museum. Also visit the Cap Roig Botanical Garden and the Sant Sebastià de la Guarda site with spectacular views 170 m above sea level. Maria and Santi will welcome you warmly.
