Classic Palm Springs Retreat with Mountain-View Pool

  • Relax at a 3BR/3BA Palm Springs home with spacious outdoor areas including a pool, hot tub, barbecue island, extra-large covered patio, and a huge grassy backyard with a fire feature.

    At this central spot in a Meiselman developed neighborhood, sightseeing, vintage shopping, and getting around Palm Springs is a breeze. The center of downtown Palm Springs is only 3 minutes away with the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Water Park, and the PS Air museum just a bit farther. Love to hike? You're only a 15-minute drive from the Indian Canyon trails.

    INSIDE THE HOUSE

    This home sleeps eight in three bedrooms, plus a sofa bed in the library/media room. The master bedroom has a king bed and beautiful French doors that open to the backyard. The en-suite master bathroom has a granite double vanity and a spacious walk-in shower. The second and third bedroom each have a comfy queen bed.

    The second bathroom has a tub/shower combination as well as convenient access to the backyard pool deck.

    Stretch out on the leather sectional sofa in the slate tiled living area and watch shows on the flat-screen TV. If there's a chill in the desert night air, add warmth from the fireplace. A separate library/media room has a 4K 55in TV with full Dolby sound and a Swedish sleeper sofa to accommodate two additional guests.

    Directly off the media room is the third full bathroom along with a closet and access to the patio.

    The modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, sparkling white countertops, and cabinets stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils needed to prepare home-cooked meals. A built-in wine cooler keeps your whites chilled for dinner!

    Once the meal is ready, take a seat at the modern snakewood dining room table with seating for eight.

    Best of all, though, is the backyard. This neighborhood was developed by famous mid-century developer Meiselman and has a yard that is twice the size of most homes in the adjoining areas. Head to the patio and enjoy a breathtaking pool with waterfall, a four-person Jacuzzi tub, and fire pit. You'll also find an eight-seat table on the patio with natural slate tile and a three-seat bar at the island grill with a built-in Bull barbecue. And all of this is anchored by views of the desert mountains!

Beautiful House and Yard

House was perfect for a weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Pool, hot tub and yard were exactly what we were looking for in a house. An ideal location if you are traveling with pets since the backyard is fully enclosed and private. No complaints and we would return for another weekend.

Most beautiful house, backyard, & location in PS!

My family and I were so impressed with everything about this place! Beautiful, well maintained home and property. The backyard area was paradise, spent all our time out there. BBQ and huge patio area, beautiful large pool with a waterfall, hot tub, and the landscaping and garden lighting at night was amazing. We will make this an annual family trip!

Excellent vacation house

Absolutely great house! We were there 4 days and never once turned the television on since we spent so much time enjoying the back yard. Beautiful pool, hot tub, waterfall, and patio area. We would definitely return to this house for another vacation in Palm Springs.

Perfect Family Vacation

We travelled to Palm Springs with our teenage kids for spring break. The house had everything we needed for our weeklong stay. We loved the outdoor space, there is a beautiful view of the mountains. The house along with the pool were clean and well maintained. The house is conveniently located to everything including the airport and downtown Palm Springs. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect home for a perfect stay

Bruce thought of everything we needed and more. This home has a backyard that was the backdrop to one of the best stays on memory. The waterfall feature was the best. Highly recommend!!

Resort like backyard was incredible.

We rented this home after a friend had previously stayed here. We have a larger family and this home was perfect to accommodate us all. Aside from the carpets needing a cleaning, the rest of the house was incredible and very clean. We spent most of our time enjoying the resort like backyard. House located very close to shopping and restaurants. Definitely will go back.

Classis Palm Spring House

My husband, I and two other couples enjoyed a week's get away at this lovely home. The backyard is gorgeous, private and functional with great pool, hot tub, fire pit, large built-in grill and lots of seating. The first day we needed assistance with the hot tub and a representative from Turn Key was there within 15 minutes. The house is in a quiet residential area. Great visit.

The contact people were very helpful and quick to respond. On a scale of 1-10 the cleanliness was about a 9. There is some significant wear and tear, kitchen cabinets are in disrepair, and the kitchen is dated, but was quite well equipped. There is a significant drip in the far bathroom sink that should be addressed, and no fan in the master bath. Late and early check out was not available at the home, 3pm check in and 10am check out was not our favorite. Overall a good house, and fun experience.

PERFECT!

I rented this house for my Bachelorette weekend. After review of a TON of houses on VRBO, I picked this house because it had everything I wanted - 4 bedrooms (including the beautiful media room), 3 bathrooms, Pool, Spa, Fire Pit, outdoor BBQ/Kitchen and LOTS of room inside and outside! The house is clean and gorgeous and the pool is fabulous - pretty deep at one end! We spent the entire weekend in the backyard - it's super spacious and my girls LOVED the place. The pool and waterfall were my favorite. However, the waterfall is on a timer and was only on from about 9am to 5/6pm which was a bummer because it was so relaxing to hear it while it was one - perfect while we did Sunday AM yoga on the lawn next to the pool. We did run into a problem with the Spa. It turned off on us around 8pm at night Saturday and I thought that was on a timer so I was a little upset until we tried to use it the next day and it still did not work. It was Sunday about 6pm and I called TurnKey to report the problem. They had a technician out to the house 15 mins later and we were in the spa by 6:30pm! It was awesome! I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a spacious, reasonably priced, and close to downtown place to stay in Palm Springs. Although I would not walk to Downtown from this house, the Uber/LYFT ride was about 5 mins and about 6 bucks! I had the most amazing time and would definitely book this house again in the future! Very good rental property

We would recommend this property for a family or multi-couple holiday. Although we were initially worried that the proximity to the airport would make it noisy, we were never bothered by it. The best thing about this house by far was the backyard! What a lovely area to spend the morning and afternoon and lots of chairs and tables for everyone (there were 6 adults in our party). The hot tub was a wonderful bonus. But we did miss having floaties for the pool such as pool noodles or air mattresses. We even tried to buy some but no one has them in stock in February. Of 5 homes that we've rented in the Palm Springs area, this was the only one that didn't have any so I hope that will be a simple and inexpensive improvement that will be made going forward. The rugs in the hall and bedrooms are getting a little worn and could use an upgrade. Everything worked exactly as promised with a couple minor issues. The front gate handle came off and the back door lock was coming off as well - just a quick maintenance fix. A better pancake turner would be appreciated. But we found the kitchen to be very well-equipped. The beds and especially the pillows were very comfortable and the linens very soft. There was no shortage of towels, both for the pool and bathrooms. We did not use the Bar-B-Q at all and did not need to call for any help with anything so I can't comment on that, and I guess that is a good thing. The location wasn't too close to the downtown but had easy access to the main streets. I heard comments from my family saying that they would definitely book this home again! Do not hesitate to book this property for your Palm Springs holiday!

Excellent Home; Top Notch Service

Reviewer Comments: We don't trust most online reviews...either it was so great the reviewer wants to get married and have all their children born there or so bad that owner should be whipped and crucified. Neither of these are true in this case. But if you are looking for a really nice home with a wonderful backyard/pool/spa that is centrally and conveniently located at a reasonable price you should consider renting this place. The home was clean, well put together and had about everything you could want except lines of coke on a mirror and a hundred dollar bill waiting. We stopped on our way into town at the grocery store and got some basic food stuff and some bourbon (no coke.) The kitchen and the outdoor barbeque have everything you could want or need. Seriously, the kitchen is well stocked and very sanitary. The pool was refreshing, the spa was just hot enough and the yard was a joy for our two yellow labs. We had a problem with the TVs and within 15 minutes of a call to the folks at Turnkey - problem fixed. The A/C was making a funny noise...next day, new parts were delivered. Outstanding service if you ask me. Wasn't crazy about the speed of the WiFi but our speed test app said the download speed was 18 's just we are used to 100+ at home so I guess we are just snobs. Was a little worried about being so close to the airport but there really was no noise. You should rent this place, so stop looking at other properties. We've been to Palm Springs like 20 times...trust me :-)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation. We barely left the house. The backyard and pool were perfect for our family. We had grandparents and two families with a 7 month old and 2 year old who loved the pool and waterfall! It felt like we were at a resort, with no other guests. The first day we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working, and Turnkey came right away to assess the problem. They ended up calling a repair person, and that issue was fixed within a couple hours. My only real complaint isn't with Turnkey, but rather the Palm Springs noise enforcement officer. When the air con repair and Turnkey rep were there, he just walked right into the house and backyard where we were having dinner. It was SO STRANGE at almost 9pm to have this happen. The noise ordinance says absolutely no music outside at any time, even from your phone, or music from inside that reaches outside. I get it, but it was posted in the house, we signed a form when we rented the property, and really didn't need to have the officer show up at 9pm to have EVERYONE in the party sign the same thing. It just felt a bit violating under the circumstances. The house also smelled a bit like stale smoke when we first arrived, but we aired it out and it was fine after that and really clean. The kitchen had all the cookware that we needed, great for a rental! The beds were super comfy too! We'd totally stay again. So worth it!
