We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately found it did not match the listing photos or expectations.The location is a strong positive—easy walking distance to downtown with great food nearby. However, the photos are misleading and make the unit appear far more modern and residential than it is. In reality, it feels like a converted commercial space above a rug store, with a full glass entry door and business-style locking.The locking system was impractical and even unsafe. If part of the group left and locked the door, anyone inside was effectively locked in and unable to exit.We arrived to a 94-degree unit with no AC running. While bedding and floors were generally clean, there was a musty smell and visible dirt buildup in areas like windowsills and under beds. There were also maintenance issues (broken outlet covers, poorly installed shower fixtures).Noise from AC units disrupted sleep, especially in the primary bedroom, and the layout lacked privacy (no door to bathroom area).The dish policy (wash and put away) also raised hygiene concerns, as cleanliness depends on prior guests.Overall, while the location is great, the condition and presentation of the property did not align with the listing, and we would not stay here again.
