If you’re looking for a low-budget escape to Palm Springs, “Sunsational Views” is the spot for you. If you’re looking for a low-budget escape costing top dollar, run away as fast as you can. NO vacation company should deal with Vacasa. Never in my experience has the description on the website been so positively inaccurate, egregiously so. Touted as a recently renovated property, the 1960’s vibe is, well, 1960’s EVERYTHING, i.e., NOTHING has been updated. The furniture is decrepit, the galley kitchen is the most poorly appointed kitchen of any rental I’ve ever stayed (complete with a refrigerator with broken drawers) – inexcusable given that this place is supposed to accommodate 10 guests - and the so-called “stunning backyard” is broken up concrete with dated furniture and paint peeling from every post and along the entire roof line and the cinderblock wall. The 4’x6’ fake grass (is THIS the backyard???) had a pile of dog poop that greeted us when we arrived. The hot tub was 1/3 empty. The grill is rusted through on the bottom. To refer to the bedrooms as “stylish” is beyond false advertising. Beware sitting on the toilet that is unstable, next to the cabinet where a chunk of wood has been removed. If you bring your pet, beware of insect traps on the floor. I paid more to heat the pool than the place is worth per night; Vacasa didn’t turn on the heat until I reminded them on day 3, then feigned I’d never reached out. Pathetic Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.
