The Selleck - Pure Downtown Sexiness -

Built in 1951, this house is truly a vibe. From the second you pull up to The Selleck, located in the famed Movie Colony neighborhood, you will feel the hip Palm Springs vibe. Mid-Century Modern with a twist, get ready to relax and immerse yourself in all Palm Springs has to offer. We are ultra picky and only use hotel quality sheets and towels.

Stepping in the front door, you will be able to look directly through the house and the wall of glass doors to the pool and private back yard, now you are on vacation. The dining room is the first room you enter. A gas fireplace, credenza, 8 person dining table and wall paper to die for can be the back drop for an awesome dinner party or fun filled game nights.

To the left of the dining room you step through round doors (yep, you heard that right) to the first bedroom with two twin beds. The room also has a closet, built in chest of drawers and a small smart TV. There is a door with private access to the outside, handy for when you want to sneak home without disturbing anyone else. The first bathroom is located just off the bedroom and can be closed off for a private suite feel. With a full bathtub and shower, it has everything you need - including a vanity top filled with marbles that light up. We told you this house is funky.

At the center of the home is the galley style kitchen that looks out over the living area and into the backyard. It's the entertainers dream, as you are always part of the fun, even while taking care of business. Equipped with everything you need if you do decide to cook on vacation. Brand new pots and pans, mixing bowls, cutting boards, measuring etc. There are two sets of plates and drinking glasses, indoor and outdoor, to meet your dining needs. A Keurig is available to get you caffeinated for the day, or a French press if you like to go old school. The wall to the left of the kitchen is what every fun house needs, a wet bar. Complete with a drink fridge, sink, ice maker and Vitamix, you'll be blending drinks like a pro. The laundry room is through the door to right of the kitchen and has a full size washer and dryer for your use.

The living area is just beyond the kitchen and has a full view of the pool. Although you may not want to get up after you sink into the down sectional. A gas fireplace can add ambiance for cozy nights in watching movies on the 65" smart TV. Or maybe you would prefer playing games? The baskets are full of everything from Clue and Yahtzee to Taboo and Citizens against Humanity, for an ultimate game night.

The master bedroom is located to the left of the living area. None of the bedrooms share walls, which is another great feature when traveling with friends. Feel like a King & Queen when sinking into the four poster king size bed. Light a fire for a romantic mood or snuggle up and watch a movie on the smart TV. That is if you can tear your gaze away from the pool just outside the sliding glass doors. A swinging chair will make you feel like you've stepped right back into the 60's. A large master closet will hold all the bikinis or trunks you can pack. The master bathroom is a work of art all on it's own. Completely tiled in citron and aqua tile, it screams vacation time. There is plenty of room for two people, with two sinks in the large vanity. And the shower? You could probably fit 10 in there. Step down into a huge shower with dual shower heads.

Across the living area to the right is the third bedroom with a queen bed. This room also has a glass slider for direct access to the pool. Don't be jealous if you don't get the master bath, this bedroom has one to rival it. It is equally funky with 60's orange retro tile from floor to ceiling. Showers for two are no problem with the dual shower heads. A small dressing room with vanity is perfect for getting ready for a night out or as a desk, if god forbid, you have to work.

And now what you are really in Palm Springs for - the outdoors. You will feel like you are in your own personal resort the second you step out back. Completely surrounded by hedges, you have the ultimate privacy. The large salt water pool and jacuzzi are surrounded by six loungers, perfect for relaxing with friends and family. Not into relaxing, play on the massive lawn surrounding the pool. You don't even have to go inside to shower, use the outdoor one. Meals outside are no problem with an outdoor table and gas BBQ grill. Sit in the jacuzzi and watch the sun go down over the gorgeous San Jacinto Mountains. After the sun goes down, light a fire in 6 foot wide, in ground, fire pit. Palm Springs is fun, but you may be tempted to not even leave The Selleck once you arrive.
