We loved our stay in this 3 bed, 2 bath gem! The location was perfect. The house is near the end of a culdesac so it's nice and quiet. You don't hear any of the street noise from Gene Autrey and Vista Chino once you're on the property. The neighborhood is historic! It's Wexler and Harrison's (architects) first architectural development in Palm Springs. We ran into a neighbor while walking our dog and she was happy to tell us all about it! We enjoyed walking our little dog around the neighborhood while checking out all the wonderful homes that have been restored.
We appreciated the concrete floors and all the amenities the property had especially the jacuzzi, firepit, and chiminea. It was a little chilly for the pool. The rooms have a lot of color. And along with a few choice pieces of furniture, you definitely feel like you're going back in time ;) We especially liked how well the kitchen was stocked!
We only used the master bedroom. But we found the bed was super comfy and closet space was more than ample. The master bathroom has a separate door leading out to the jacuzzi and pool area which makes it very convenient when you want to take a quick shower afterward. We especially liked the firepit and chiminea during our stay! The backyard area was perfect for that morning puppy break, too. If you're looking for ambiance with some mid-century flare, this is a great retreat in the desert. We look forward to staying there again!
