Approximately 500 yards or so from the beach side, this 1960s cottage exudes old Florida charm... inviting you to kick off your shoes and stay awhile. The house is surrounded by state park lands and is very private. If you enjoy solitude, walks on the beach, nature and star gazing, you'll appreciate this spot. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

Wonderful private cottage with all the comforts of home. Well stocked kitchen, multiple places to rest, play games, watch movies. But the yard and surrounding area are the real treasure! So peaceful and secluded. Saw deer and all manner of birds from the backyard. A gem of a place! A perfect spot to reset.

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the quietness and nature, and did some fishing and biking.. Cindy is a great host and was there when we had questions. We love the laid back vibe of the area.

Such a cute and comfy place to stay! We love the alligator and bald point area, and we really enjoyed this cottage. It is very private, and has everything that you need. We also really loved all of the windows!

Peaceful, tranquil, and beautiful

The cottage is as advertised and provided everything we needed for our weekend away. The beds were great and the place was spotless. Everything we needed was provided. Wonderful quiet beaches and we had a great time exploring. We would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet, peaceful retreat. While we were in & out without any time to enjoy the beach or outdoors, it was perfect for our needs. We wanted something away from the hustle of Tallahassee on football gameday, so this sanctuary was simply excellent.

The cottage is cozy with quirky touches and a pleasant ambiance. Not far from the gulf but away from the Maine. Highly recommend.
