Great place with small issues

Gorgeous view of the ocean. Good community. Had a great trip. Small issues such as floors needed mopping, toilet ran, sand in beds, toilet seat broke but fixed quickly. Would definitely stay again though.

Short title

Liked property overall. Needed some TLC here and there. Beautiful view of beach. Stayed at GG several times over the years. Will stay there again. This time made 3 years in a row.

Quick trip

Condo was just as described - the kitchen does have some issues with the handles and knobs on things being loose but overall this was a beautiful condo with breathtaking views. It was clean. We will gladly go again. Loved this quick weekend trip.

It is what it is

The condo served it’s purpose but we won’t be back. I broke my leg mid vacation. Not the facilities fault at all just bad memories. The beach was incredible and gorgeous. The beach service was incredible highly recommend renting chairs!

I would stay here again

I liked the property and how it was not in a high traffic area. I was disappointed that the listing stated that there was a sleeper sofa, but that was not correct. There were some minor maintenance issues that should have been addressed. I would stay at the property again, but not that particular unit.

Great condo on the Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean. The deck had a nice table and chairs to sit at. The TVs were clear. Wish they at least had Netflix on them but we brought our own Roku to watch our shows in the living room. Comfortable seating available. Nice dining set but wished there were place mats to keep glass from getting dirty. Kitchen was well stocked. Wished they had a dish drainer, soap and washcloth because we don't like them stacking up to use the dishwasher. Plenty of counterspace to put pantry items on. Both bathrooms had good pressure in them. AC worked great. Lightbulb outside door was out but we managed. Washer/dryer combo worked. Fridge made plenty of ice and had extra bin, saving us money on buying ice. Bedroom had plenty of room for clothes. We didn't use second bedroom. It was a great condo, as are most of them at Gulfgate. This is the fifth year we have stayed at different ones. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location but condo needs updating. curtains and bed coverings, bathrooms, cabinets, appliances, and decorations. No Tv in 2nd bedroom Could not get the Dvr to work in living room. Pieces of the balcony above keeps crumbling and falling down on your balcony. But was very thankful they allowed pets and had a great area to take them to the restroom.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was wonderful. We encountered issues the washer was extremely noisy maintenance fixed it very quickly. We had to go to a different condo to do our laundry for a day .The air conditioner would not go below 72 or 73 we had to go out and purchase fans after spending almost 2000$ for our stay. They did change the air filter that did not work they cleaned coils on the outside that did not help. We were told they would make it up to us but did not. The fridge was a little rusty and outdated , also the dishwasher was outdated. They did have all the pots and pans and silverware. We had to purchase our own toilet paper as well. The staff was extremely nice of everyone I met . The elevator was very hot on the inside and so slow we just walked up the stairs. The pool stayed cool it was covered that was nice. One bedroom did not have a tv and no light fixture there were only lamps 3 of them so there was not a lot of light in there because the window was super small. The way the 2 beds were arranged u could not get into closet to hang anything up. The curtain rods in the rooms were bent that I noticed . Our door actually was hard to shut to lock if it was not shut hard then u just cld push it open. So what we paid I think was overpriced . The view was beautiful though which was a plus .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall stay was nice and enjoyable but the unit we stayed in was not as nice as I expected. The window in the master bedroom leaked and flooded the floor when it rained, the exhaust fans in both bathrooms did not work, and the curtain rod in the master bedroom was just hanging from the wall due to the wet conditions from the leak, the closets were unusable due to the stuff in them I assume were the owners. The maintenance man Teddy did come and fix the curtain rod situation and was very professional. In my opinion I would recommend trying another unit at this facility or wait until these repairs are made to unit 306.

Vacation at Gulf Gate

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our visit for 7 days. Clean grounds, safe area, no parking problems. However, I expected a more updated condo with the price I paid. The kitchen needed updating. Refrigerator handle and kitchen faucet were very loose, the dishes were dirty in the cabinet and there was no storage in the kitchen for your groceries. Cabinets were jammed pack with stuff. Bedrooms abathrooms were nice and clean. There were unruly teenagers in the pool all week. They were diving through rings, shooting water guns,yelling, running... younger children could not play in the pool while the teenagers were there. They had no adult supervision or respect for the pool rules . The pool was to small for horse playing. For future guest, check your rates. Rates are determined by demand for rooms during a period. I paid more for that condo in June than the 4th of July week. Unfortunately I was told about the rates after I booked and paid .
