Family Vacay

Great location!!! The condo was clean and had beautiful views of the ocean We wish the parking garage had been bigger it was hard to maneuver our large truck around The room comes with one parking space that was excellent really close to room if you have more than one vehicle there was still plenty of parking spaces we had a great stay

Great view/access

The condo was very clean. Everything was as advertised. The access to the pool and short trip to the beach were great! A couple negatives, the dryer was broken and one of the light fixtures in the guest shower leaked.

Misleading

The floor was filthy. No mop, vacuum cleaner doesn’t work. Ceiling light in one of the bedrooms gone. Just naked wires hanging there. The mattress in one of the bedrooms was a joke. So soft and pliable it would dump you in the floor. Washer doesn’t work. And we needed it too.. I think I deserve a partial refund of the cleaning fee.

Child was injured and no one will call us back

We enjoyed the condo. The bedrooms and bunk beds were so nice. The couch wasn't comfortable though. Shores of panama has the slowest elevators. The biggest problem is that we paid for an extended check out but my son ended up being injured at the pool because or poor layout of the chairs and unlevel walkways. An incident report was filed but NO ONE from SOP will return our calls. The condo owner never answered our messages prior to check in either.

Beautiful Unit - VERY Poorly Managed property

Unit was good. Could have used a few more pieces of storage ware in kitchen. A baking sheet for bread or pizza. Beautifully decorated. Lovely balcony. Very disappointed that I messaged twice about there being beach chairs and boogie boards/sand toys in the untit. I was told no, both times. So we lug all this stuff and the unit had 3 beach chairs in the bedroom closed and a deck box on the balcony with boards and sand toys. We ended up leaving our 2 beach chairs as well since we did not want to or have much room to bring them home. Check in was very difficult and the young African American woman at the desk was terribly rude. Refused to give me the number of wristbands my contract promised. After making multiple calls to the local contact, the two additional bands were deliverd to my room with an apology. The security at the property were rude and were hitting on my teen daughter and her friend the entire week. They were Jamaican men in their mis to late 30's. Always finding fault with young white males, even kicking some out while ignoring inappropriate behavior by hot young women, both white and black. There were a group of workers who came down and removed towels from lounge chairs after we had a party of 6, only 4 sitting at the chairs. I was told if your not in the chair the towel is being removed. What is your in the bathroom or do to the beach to swim..she said right we'll get rid of it. I confronted the property manager, she apologized and said they were taking it to the extreme and not really understating what was asked of them. The only staff that was friendly and accommodating was the bar and food hut. The security even kicked us off the beach one night. We were walking and keeping to ourselves but they made us come up off the beach and said it was closed. 9p at night and we are grown adults in our 50's who do not need to be told to get off a beach that we paid a lot of money to stay at. The elevator rarely worked and was so slow we climed the 5 flights of stairs at least 3-4 times a day. The parking structure was like taking your life in your hands getting in and out, I would never recommend this property Shores of Panama to anyone based on our experience. We spoke to others who encounted the same problem.

A place with a view

Beach week

Everything was very comfortable and nice, better than the pictures even! Well stocked and with nice furniture. Only complaint: not enough hot water. It would last 5 minutes then be freezing cold. So if there’s more than one person needing to shower you’d have to space it out or go cold. Otherwise perfect beach week!

Practically Perfect

There's no differences between the photos and property. For us the elevators were quick but we were there at the very beginning of the season. Place was clean. Lots of light in the living room. Big TV. Plenty of towels. Lots of space - this place is big. It's practically perfect. Biggest note? Hot water is limited cause the water heater is in the condo itself. Also there's only one closet and it's in the master room

Great Family Space!

The view and family space are great in this little piece of heaven! If I had to note some suggestions it would be I really wish that there were more calming colors in the sleep spaces (the walls are lime green and bright Orange) and the bathrooms are clean but need updates and new appliances in the kitchen. We had a great time in the space but the elegance and luxury of the family space would be even nicer if it were carried throughout the unit into the bathrooms and bedrooms. Our kiddos loved the bunk area! The view is gorgeous! We loved that it had a TV there for them! All in all this is a great little unit and your family will enjoy the view! Did I mention we loved the family room and the view? Dr.G and family

Disappointing

Requested early check in due to weather being terrible. They refused told me my check in was 4 pm. I arrived To check in at four and no one was present at the desk. I was unable to reach anyone. After waiting a half hour and multiple calls after 45 minutes a lady arrived. She smelt of cigarettes and was rude. The email stated i would have two and a extra third parking place that was unmarked on a high deck. I was told at the desk that they didn’t care what my email said there was two and only two. Upon driving up to the deck i only found one marked space and my other guest had to park in unmarked spaces and pray we did not get towed. Upon arrival to the unit it was clean however, one bathroom would not flush right then it completely clogged the last day. There was really no service to answer questions it was always , well we will try to get someone to help you then never reply. The beach was filthy bottles and cans broken glass. The smell of marijuana was everywhere when I would take my kids out to the pool. I will Never use the condo rental service again. Extremely poor customer service with little to no care for anyone. I was Highly disappointed and could not even speak to someone to complain. Stay away from this condo and this service.

Bed bugs

In the month we were there an exterminator was there twice. First for a heat treatment which we lost use for an entire day then a week later I started getting bites again and called the man returned and sprayed under the bed and fumes made that area unable to sleep in that area. After a few nights on the couch we said enough and left and returned home. The doctor said because of my reaction it appeared I was allergic to them. The beach chairs that were included with the condo were now not included. I love Panama City breach and have always had a nice time experience. I think I may be using another rental company next time.

Shores of Panama 507

The building itself looks beautiful from a distance, but up close you can see it is an aging property. On our visit all the outdoor pool areas, hot tubs and snack bars were closed for maintenance and the exterior was being bleached for cleaning (which stained one of our jackets). The unit itself seemed newly decorated in the living room and kitchen, but it needs serious updating elsewhere, especially the bathrooms; all the bathroom fixtures are old and showers/baths heavily caulked around the floors. The kitchen was not well stocked, lacking glassware, especially medium and small juice sized glasses.
