The view was absolutely amazing. The condo was clean, pleasant, and conveniently equipped with everything you would need. The pool is phenomenal looking with the bridges and dolphin sprinklers. We are planning to return next year.

The ocean view was amazing. We loved the pool and the hot tub. The condo was clean and very nice.My only flaw was the parking. Being on the 9th level plus not much space so cars were having to "pull over" to let other cars by arpund the turns. Wish it was just open parking.

Very nice room, staff and amenities. Due to unusually busy time, elevators were extremely busy.

Check in and stay information was exceptional!! Kitchen had everything you would need plus many extras. Well organized and clean

Construction

The unit was clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the den balcony view incredible.The unit itself had THE WORST bed in the master bedroom. It has been described as firm, I like firm and I was miserable. I honestly wonder if there is a mattress there or just a box spring! The master is also the only one we have stayed in (we have stayed in several) without a beach view. The unit could also use a full length mirror.We were on a short getaway so a relaxing stay was important. Construction began at 8:00 am literally at the door of the unit. I opened the door to drills, ladders and debris from the work and the smell of wet paint. By mid-day they moved away from our door but continued working down the entire path to the elevators.It made getting in and out of the unit treacherous all day long. I thought, perhaps, Saturday morning would be better. They were back to work by 8:00 am this time on the path to the elevators and the elevators themselves. I contacted the management company at the beginning of this and all they said was that they would contact the HOA. Then silence. I would have been nice to know this before choosing this unit.

Clean

Check in process was a little confusing. We had drove a long time and arrived at check in at 4pm but did not receive a code until 5pm. The room was very clean. Probably one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The kitchen had all the amenities you needed. Nice washer and dryer. The view was beautiful! The master bed was very uncomfortable. The bunk beds and pullout were very comfortable.

Excellent Condo...

The condo was totally as described and very clean. Furnishing were new and up to date, ...I was pleasantly pleased. The kitchen was awesome! The bedrooms were immaculate, with tons of closet space! All of this without even mentioning the view of a corner room! They are absolutely the BEST!! Condo management was extremely courteous, prompt and easy to reach, ...EVEN after hours we got a quick response! I would definitely recommend this unit!

Beautiful Room with Amazing Views!

This room was clean and very nice! It also has all brand new appliances! The views are breathtaking and you can see both directions, up and down the shoreline! Stunning views of the sunset! Check in was easy and when our code didn't work, we called and within minutes we had a new access code! Top notch customer service🙂 Would book again in a heartbeat! Thank You!

Nice unit, Won’t be returning

The unit it’s self was nice, and as described. Appliances were all new and the AC worked excellent. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The kids slept great in the bunk beds. The master bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable and the room desperately needs room darkening shades, as the exterior lights shine significantly through the closed blinds. We also killed multiple roaches in the kitchen. But we will never be returning to Shores of Panama. Way too few elevators for that many units. We often waited 10-20 minutes for an elevator. One day, 3 of the 6 elevators were down at the same time, in the middle of checkout. We walked up/down 15 flights of stairs, multiple times. The parking deck is a cluster of oversized cars, making super tight turns. Since other property management companies allow 18 year olds to rent, it is a party 24/7. The building was filled with kids that have no respect for the property or other people. We could ignore the filth coming from their mouth and speakers, but we couldn’t ignore the party they had the night before. The beach was trashed every morning. We had to clean up beer cans, glass liquor bottles, and trash before we could set up on the beach. I hate that our experience with the building was so terrible because overall, the unit was nice. But we work hard for our money and vacations are a financial sacrifice for our family. To spend our one family vacation, surrounded by filth and underage intoxication, was heartbreaking.

October 18 thru October 23

We came for a cornhole tournament in town and stayed a couple extra days to have a quick vacation. We loved this condo! It was so homey. Quiet and tucked away but still have the exact balcony view I was craving. The rooms were nice, the kitchen had everything we needed, and again, the view! We will definitely be staying here again.

Shores of Panama #1502

There were really only a few issues. The parking spot was 6 floors away from the unit which wouldn’t have been an issue except the elevators were constantly long wait times. The unit itself is quite outdated (especially for the price). The master bed leans with quite a slant towards the head of the bed. The cushions in the living room on both couches springs were so badly worn that they all seemed to create an irregular lump in the middle of each one making it incredibly hard to sit on comfortabley. Other than that, the air conditioner was immaculate. The towels were plenty and crisp. The water pressure was delightful!! The bunk beds were amazing for my kids. The streaming systems (Netflix etc) were a plenty and the Wi-Fi connection was the best I have experienced at shores of Panama this far. The ease of check in and check out in tandem with the communication from book that condo was unmatched. My overall suggestions are updated furniture in the living room and and adjustment to the master bedroom bed, as well as a more accessible parking spot due to long elevator wait times.

Beautiful view, elevators are awful

The unit was nice overall with a beautiful view right on the ocean. If I booked again I would try to get a unit several stories lower than the 15th floor just so you could look down off the balcony and not feel like you're so high up. 8th or 9th floor would be ideal I think. Also the other reviews about the elevator issues were spot on! We got there Thursday and the wait for the elevator was only around 5 minutes but then one of the two elevators shut down on Saturday afternoon and it wasn't fixed by the time we left on Tuesday! We waited at least 10 minutes every time we needed to go up or down (took the stairs down a few times so we didn't miss our Uber ride) and a few times it took close to 20 minutes to get back up to our room! It felt like a big waste of our precious vacation time and it's very hot in the elevator area and especially inside the elevator where people were trying to cram into because they were desperate not to wait on it for yet another round! The bed is pretty comfortable at first but it doesn't have much support and my husband was up early every day, especially the last few days of our stay because it was hard on his back to sleep on it very long. The pool area is beautiful and the food hut has pretty good fried food (always out of jerk chicken) and drink bar has good drinks but they do cost about $11 for a small solo cup. I suggest going to Pineapple Willy's to get a souvenir cup of frozen drink on day 1 for $20 and then you get refills for $10 and they are much bigger than the drinks at the pool bar. Willy's is usually quite busy but the wait doesn't actually take that long because they have lots of seating and good food! I suggest the pulled pork nachos! I highly suggest taking advantage of the Sunshine Shuttle airport transportation service offered through Xplori when booking this condo if you aren't getting a rental car! It only costed me $22 total for the roundtrip which was for the tip. They were easy to work with and professional. However, my experience using Xplori to book a tee time at Bay Point Golf was NOT good! I ended up paying $90 to Xplori when I booked it and they lady on the phone told me that was to cover the other golfer (since one golfer was suppose to be free through them) and rental clubs. However, I had to pay an additional $120 when we got to the course and the course manager said he had no idea why I was charged $90 through Xplori because I still owed for the other golfer! Rip off!
