“Hot tub was very clean, in fact chemical service came on second day of stay. House is tastefully decorated, with large tub downstairs that my wife loved and a great Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Walkable distance to hiking trail. Peace and quiet in the woods, in fact only saw one other resident while we were hiking. Plentiful wild life, we saw numerous deer and I even watched a bobcat for a little bit from the back deck! Whole thing couldn't have been any easier.”

“We had an awesome long-weekend stay here and just had to leave a review, even though I don’t normally write them. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we were hoping for. “First and foremost, the condo was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved that it had a little balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to view stars at night. It is in a beautiful setting and only 4 miles from Davis, where you can find places to eat. The location is ideal for visiting many natural areas and Blackwater State Park. It was very quiet the week we were there in early October too.”

“This was our fourth or fifth time staying at Jim’s place. We are repeat guests for a reason. As always the house was awesome. We celebrated our anniversary spending time in Thomas and Davis, frequently at the Billy Motel and Purple Fiddle. When we were at home we had a fire going constantly. The ambience is awesome. It snowed A LOT our last night and I thought we’d be in trouble. Jim had a plow truck come out that morning and cleared the driveway for us. As always, thanks Jim! ”
