“Die Inhaberin der Unterkunft wusste nichts von einer Buchung als wir dort ankamen. Sie sagte, dass sie diese Unterkunf gar nicht über diese Plattform (auch VRBO nicht) anbietet.
Bei Rückfragen wurde ich damit vertröstet, dass VRBO zuständig sei und haben mir lediglich eine Telefonnummer angegeben. Beim Versuch dort anzurufen, hiess es, dass diese Nummer nicht in Betrieb sei.
Auch die Kontaktangaben wie Mailadresse und Telefonnummer des angeblichen Anbieters der Unterkunft, waren entweder...
“A huge apartment with everything you might need. It was close enough to visit various places and local restaurants are a plenty. Just across the road is a small cafe called the Goat Herder where you can have a delicious breakfast if you can’t be bothered to cook in the apartment.”

“We had a fantastic stay in this Budapest apartment with a group of friends. It was perfect for groups – plenty of beds, really clean, and well laid out so no one felt on top of each other.
