Clean house, with great exposure east at kitchen, west in living room to soak in afternoon sun after skiing, wonderful gas fireplace, views, deck, extremely convenient to ski lifts, ski rental, tickets, restaurants & bars, hot pool, tub, sauna. Home has everything needed to be comfortable, be entertained, cook, dining table can seat 10+. Small living area is cozy with stone (gas lit closed) fireplace. Furnishings are basic, solid, not new or fancy. Washer/dryer on 3rd level with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Suite on ground floor off garage, looks out under deck (no view), has its own bathroom with shower. Thermostats in every room. Not good if you have crawling babies or toddlers unless you bring 2 gates to block off stairs. Excellent communication with host Koreen. Could not find an open food bank on the weekend to donate our unopened food but young employees are happy to have it. The Greywolf cross country Nordic ski center is lovely but hilly. It’s a nice walk from & to Panorama but path goes onto road for bits of it. I saw many dog walkers and families outside walking on a Saturday afternoon. The downhill ski lifts were a joy, all without waits. Lots of trails for all levels. Everyone was welcoming and helpful in servicing visitors. We took an excursion (45 mins) to Radium for a thermal pool soak which was delightful, less crowded, larger and with better views than at Panorama. We enjoyed our stay.
