“This is a very nice accommodation for a short stay especially. It is very small, and downstairs with no bore to outside. The back yard though with flower garden and chickens is delightful. Inside, it is one of the cleanest we have been in. And thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is pretty spacious considering th overall amount of space, and supplied with more than adequate dishes, cutlery, kitchen tools, even dog food and water dishes. Stove, coffee pot, elect. hot water pot, microwave...aldo...

“When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. I cannot say enough great things about tis property. We looked forward to having coffee on our back deck in the morning. We actually had a four-day event in...
