The location is great. There were windows to both the street side and the courtyard side. The street has little traffic, but it is one block away from a busy street with many shops and restaurants. So it is both quiet and convenient. The courtyard view is very nice. Security in the building is very good. The apartment was very clean, and the sheets and towels are professionally cleaned. The wall heaters were not working, but the host provided three space heaters, which were adequate for the last two weeks of October. One has to be careful not to cook or use the hair dryer while the space heaters are running. When a fuse blew and I couldn't find the fuse box, it took hours for the host to respond. In the meantime it was cold and dark, but I did find a kind person in the building who helped me. You should familiarize yourself with the location of the fuse box in advance (over the inside of main entry door).I did not like that the ceiling is low in part of the living space, in particular above the bathtub. So it would be difficult to take a shower while standing up (without getting the floor wet). If you don't mind taking baths instead of showers it is not a problem. Check-in is by picking up keys from a self-service laundry. It worked fine, but I would have liked being greeted by the host sometime, at least over the phone.
