Great location, very nice place

Gran ubicación, bonito departamento aunque algo pequeño, pero más que suficiente para lo que íbamos a hacer, en n general nuestra experiencia en el departamento fue excelente.

We love the location. It is very convenient for shopping and dinning. The staff who met us at the door when checking in is very nice but doesn't know any English. Our communication through translation app was not very efficient. The room looks beautiful, beddings are clean. However, One very unacceptable thing was that 6 small cushions were dirty and very smelly! The pillow was too low for my husband and he wanted to use a small cushion under his pillow, which turned out we could not stand the strong bad smell from the cushion. We had to move cushions far from the bed.

The best studio at this price.

If you have a weekend or week long trip to Paris, this place is more than enough. It’s near a lot of bus stops, metro stations and, if you want to walk, Louvre, Notre Dame and the Pantheon will be very close by walking. I would definitely book again here.

Long Weekend Stay in Paris

Great location to all of the popular tourist attractions! Short walk to the train station and most bus stops. The owners were super friendly and nice and I would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent stay in Paris

Selecting this apartment was definitely a great choice! Very well located in the Marais region nearby many restaurants and bars. Accommodation was really clean and it offers everything you need. Lastly, the support from the crew was great! Thanks.

Alloggio comodo in un’ottima posizione: 1 fermata bus sotto casa e 3 fermate metro nell’arco di 10 minuti a piedi. Quartiere ricco di vita, negozi e ristoranti. L’appartamento è pulito e la comunicazione con l’host è stata efficace. Abbiamo visto commenti negativi per quanto riguarda l’ insonorizzazione, ed è vero, non è il massimo, ma il complesso è tranquillo e si dorme senza problemi. Tirando le somme ci è piaciuto molto!

First time in Paris, was blown away. The neighborhood is lovely and has fantastic food. This home is in an amazing location and has a lot to offer. Easy check in, very clean, and full shower. The only thing this place could use is a fan or two since their appeared to be no a/c. Also shoutout Anton ☝✊

Un bon séjour en général

J'ai passé un bon séjour en général dans cet appartement même si j'ai été quelque fois réveillé par les travaux de construction se déroulant dans la cours du building et qu'il manquait un lave linge quoi que cela était mentionné dans l'annonce. Le quartier est tranquil et sécurisé.

The building is under construction. Open the French doors and the view is scaffolding with gyprock mud. Disappointing.

Apartamento tranquilo e bem localizado

O apartamento é menor do que aparenta nas fofos, mas muito limpo e com a maioria dos utensílios em perfeito estado . Algumas considerações de coisas que faltam como ferro de passar , taças de vinho e talheres novos que não conduzem com o resto das coisas que são muito boas . O sofá cama é bom , mas muito barulhento .E o local do vaso sanitário é muito apertado e baixo , parece que está entrando em uma caverna , vc tem que se abaixar para passar pela porta . O anfitrião foi ótimo , contactou táxi para mim e muito simpático . Ficaria lá novamente , só arrumar pequenas coisas

Beautiful but under construction

The property manager and owner were super nice and very helpful at check-in. Location was excellent and walking distance to alot of shops, restaurants ans museums. The inside of the property was clean, completely updated and very nice. Unfortunately in the booking, it said nothing about construction. The pictures in the booking showed a courtyard and had a beautiful view out the 2 windows, and that was not at all what we got. Was not aware there was construction and we could not open the windows due to the smell of the materials and the dust. Therefore had little to no airflow in the hot and stuffy room. Hide a bed was pretty uncomfortable and we were not able to get extra blankets to try to sleep on because they we're not available on a Friday to bring them. Getting woke up at 8 AM on. a Friday morning on our Paris vacation sucked. Once construction is done, this building will be amazing, but until then you kind of feel like you're in a dark room with no view or airflow and no light coming in from the outside. On our downtime, we'd loved to drink some wine and hang out by the windows. Originally I booked this because of the view out the windows and the location. We would have not booked this location If we known there was construction and we wouldn't have been able to open or look out the windows.

Not Worth It

While the neighbourhood is great and the apartment is okay, communication was completely unprofessional. Ruben you clearly had no intention to meet me at your rental office as the keys were with Anton even though I have it in email that we agreed I could go to the office. Also no one in your office knew where you could be found so that was a fun surprise.Anton’s behaviour was semi unhinged as he lectured and berated me from his very first message to me. If you work in hospitality, it should be understood that people will rent from other time zones and will need to communicate outside of French business hours. I did not need to be yell at me for being at the office which I had agreed to meet Ruben. It seems Ruben also lacked communication with you and I, but I do not need to be caught in the middle. Frankly, if you stopped and listened to anything I had to say rather than berating me maybe we could have had a respectful conversation. But again you were disrespectful from your first text message back to me.Lastly even after telling both Ruben and Anton what time I would arrived and reading the rules, neither of them mentioned paying an early arrival fee. However Anton did try to drop that in between harassing me for not meeting him at what time he thought I was arriving. Nothing was confirmed with Anton before my arrival because I expected to meet Ruben at his office. So yes, decent apartment. Not worth being treated like this.

Not Worth It - Did not feel safe as single solo woman traveler

Let me begin with the apartment. It’s fine. Dirty silverware and not enough toilet paper for a whole week. You also share an entrance with the property owner, who you can hear through your apartment door make comments about you being at the apartment or not. Take that for what you want.Let me end with if you want to be forced to communicate with a semi unhinged man who will yell, harass, and berate you then rent at this place. Anton was completely unprofessional from my first messaged sent about my arrival time. If you communicate with him outside of his specific business hours, he will reprimand you. This is an unreasonable request as not all renters live in France. After letting both Ruben and Anton know what time I was arriving and would like to check in, neither mentioned an early check in fee. Anton tried to slip that in between harassing me about meeting up at the wrong place. I met up at the wrong place because Ruben agreed to meet at the rental agency since I did not feel comfortable meeting Anton. But that was never going to happen as Anton had the keys. Anton felt so offended by my one cuss word at him that he was going to hold the keys hostage until a later time. He did give me the keys but before he did he said “are you going to play nice now?”. I felt so gross, humiliated, and mistreated from just the check in. I would love to post the emails, text messages, and voice messages, but Vrbo won’t let me here.

I had significant problems with this rental: CONSTRUCTION * There was construction on the walls immediately outside the apartment, starting every day at 8am with drilling and jackhammering. This was not disclosed so was a total surprise to me. * This also meant that the pathway to the apartment was dirty, with dust, detritus, construction materials, and scaffolding. * The windows of the apartment open to the airway between buildings, which housed the construction. Scaffolding was built at the windows so that crews could operate on the exterior apartment walls. This meant lack of privacy and security. * The dust and grime from construction also meant that opening the windows allowed dust into the room. With the heat and no AC, this made the stay worse. COMMUNICATION * The super never confirmed the time/place for key handoff, so arriving was filled with anxiety. He did show up, though 20 minutes late. * Upon checkin, the apartment had not yet been cleaned and was not ready as promised at 3pm. It took 4 hours for the cleaning person and supplies to fully arrive before I had the place to myself. * Because of the construction, the exterior doors were often left open, which reduced the security of the entryway. * At one point this also caused a malfunction of the exterior door, which kept me from entering for 15 minutes. * When recounting these problems to the owner, no accommodation or refund was given. I would avoid Rentals by Ruben!

MORE ISSUES * Because of the construction, the exterior doors were often left open, which reduced the security of the entryway. * At one point this also caused a malfunction of the exterior door, which kept me from entering for 15 minutes. * There was not enough toilet paper provided. There was no hand soap provided. * Bathroom is tiny and requires tall people to double over to enter. * There are only a couple of dishes in the apartment and no oven, only a microwave. * When recounting these problems to the owner, no accommodation or refund was given. Avoid Rentals by Ruben!

The communication with the staff was terrible, after multiple messages and phone calls, I noticed that address sent to us was incorrect (misspelling). This mistake caused me to go around the city for 3 hours . Upon arriving the staff kept blaming me for being late and required me to pay a lated fee of 25 Euro to the host. I asked for a refund, have not hear from them. The host also gave me a door entry code that was also incorrect. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS PEOPLE AGAIN, MUCH LESS RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE.

A true pleasure

I loved staying here and I will surely return. Robert is so kind, the apartment was perfect for me being on my own. The area felt safe and fully walkable to everything you need. It was a joy and I can’t wait to come back.
