Pro: Terrific location. Airy and bright. Lots of duvets and blankets. Good communication with host, who was responsive a polite. Secure door and locks. Con:Tired, run down suite with no visible effort to maintain, never mind update. Lumpy, tired furniture. Mismatched and broken kitchen untensils that have not been addressed since complaints in Aug 2025. Absolutely no kitchen hygiene products (paper towels, cleanser, wipes), except one sad sponge and a bit of dish soap. One small garbage can with a bag that is even smaller—practically useless (see photo). Unsecure toilet seat—that was fun!If you’re a larger person, it will be difficult to use the shower (although the tub has a hand shower). As others already noted, very slow refund of deposit. Check-in process was awkward: key pick-up and drop-off from a machine in a laundomat several blocks from the property (to be fair, the host accommodated us when we had to depart before the laundromat opened).Overall, a great location but similar to staying in a poor first-year student’s apartment. (Note the property is across the street from a bar and closing time can be noisy, though not the host’s fault.)
