Our stay at the Paris apartment was amazing! The location can’t be beat, with the Metro and a taxi stand literally across the street, not to mention the Louvre! There are several cafes and a grocery store all within a short walking distance. The apartment itself has a small kitchen, a washer/dryer combo, and a comfortable bed. The WiFi is blazing fast, and the TV has several English speaking channels available. Our host, Carmela was out of town when we checked in, but had a colleague meet us outside to get us into the apartment and help us with our bags. Carmela was very quick in response to our questions both before and during our stay. The only caution I would provide is that because it is in such a busy location, there is a lot of traffic and emergency vehicle noise. This didn’t bother us, but just be aware. Overall, the stay was one of the best out of our many, many trips to Paris. Highly recommended! *****

My 10 year old daughter and I very much enjoyed our time in this apartment. Great location! Host was very helpful with preplanning and communication.

The apartment is small but has everything you need including a big, comfortable bed. The bonus for us were the large windows that open for fresh air! One heads up: the apartment is on the top floor so the ceiling slants in a couple of spots, meaning my tall My husband had to watch his head in a couple of spots. The Louvre is literally across the street, as is a patisserie. The Siene is just down the street. It was a perfect location for us. Carmela was lovely and we had great communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from her again.

This flat is absolutely divine and perfectly located near the metro, shopping and museums. We stayed for a week and couldn't have selected a better place. The owners are also fantastic -- very responsive and helpful. We will definitely return without any hesitation.

Pretty in Paris

Petite apartment finished with everything you need in Paris. Comfortable bed, central location, Very well maintained. Carmela is a wonderful host and she has created a lovely apartment. Good pastry shop across the street and nice view/proximity to the Louvre.

Great Location/Terrific Host

We stayed for three nights, and the flat was perfect for us. Exactly as described on-line. Carmella was very friendly, made restaurant recommendations, and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect Apartment & Perfect Hoat

The location is perfect - the apartment has everything you need - lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance….. and the most luxurious toilet I have ever used (like 10 ply amazing!). The hosts were both amazing to work with, kind and accommodating! They love their guests and apartment / and you will too! Just book it - I promise it’s a gem!!!

Best location with all comforts

The rue de Rivoli is now a quiet street for buses and bikes only, but still bustling with pedestrians. It's wonderful. and being in the middle of Paris all great destinations are easily reached, and also so many wonderful walks right out the front door. Being on the top floor brings all the advantages of a quiet perch at this historic intersection in front of the Louvre. A truly charming and uniquely located special apartment. Thank you Carmela for sharing your remarkable place.

Amazing Paris Location!

This 6th (7th) floor apartment is doable for 3 over 70 yr-olds because of its elevator. Kitty-corner from the Louvre, facing the Seine & across the street from the Metro & a bakery, this location is hard to beat. Our host met us with Champagne & macrons. We wish we could have stayed longer. We were able to park right behind our building. Would look to stay here every time we get a chance to visit Paris.

Wonderful top floor apartment diagonally across from the Louvre

Small, 6th floor apartment in Nice building with typical small French elevator. Some areas of apartment are slanted so over 6 footers might be a little tight, but Bedroom has little of that, and great Queen bed. Very quiet, as there are no continuous walls with quiet neighbors in the BR. Wonderful, clean Cafe August next door, great for coffee, croissants, lunch. Apartment is incredibly tastefully decorated. Washer, dishwasher. We never used. One of the best VRBO apartments I've ever stayed in. Paris metro (Louvre-Rivoli) entrance is across the street. Much to love and the host(ess/owner) of the apartment was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot in Paris

Dear Carmela, Thank you so much for an amazing 10-day stay. My son and I had an amazing experience exploring Paris and cities nearby. It was also special to be there for Le Tour and witness all the preparations around the Louvre. The apartment is perfect for my 15-yo son and I. We each had enough space for privacy. We enjoyed routine of getting baked goods from across the street then enjoying them in the apartment, watching the view, before going out for the day. Metro access was perfect! As was the short walk to the Seine, Il de la Cité, shopping, and the various metro stations. Being steps away from Line 1 was amazing! Made it super easy to get around without the hassle of city traffic. Thank you again and we wish to visit again someday. Merci! Cynthia

Terrible experience, I regret staying here

There were 3 hosts for this property. One of the hosts named Camille was absolutely awful and ruined this experience for me. The floors and rug were dirty, there was lots of blond hair from a previous guest on the couch and floor, and there were huge balls of dust larger than my hand in the corner of the bedroom floor. I notified the host that gave me the keys that we had dirty floors and he said they would return to clean it. When I returned to the room, I told the host that it didn't look like anything was cleaned and a different host named Camille began harassing and threatening me via phone calls and text. It was very inappropriate and ruined the beginning of our trip to Paris. I wish I could upload photos of the dirty floors and screenshots of Camille's harassment texts. I submitted all the photos and text messages to VRBO. For the safety of future guests, I sincerely hope VRBO bans this host from listing properties on VRBO. The harassment and threats were uncalled for. I guarantee Camille is going to comment and deny these allegations, but trust me, I have all the photos and evidence. The police/ambulance sirens outside are very loud, they run all day/night and will keep you up while trying to sleep. The walls are also paper thin, we heard neighbors downstairs singing through the walls while trying to sleep. Do not rent this Paris property or any other property from these hosts. They'll probably ruin your trip.
