Host communication was not great. I was offered to check in a day early at a discounted rate, but then they couldn’t accommodate an early check-in on arrival day. I asked for access to a locker or luggage storage since we arrived at 11am, but I got no help in trying to accompany date the request. The kitchen was poorly stocked with pretty basic items, e.g. baking sheet, spatula, etc. The thermostat would reset to a programmed temperature of 65 degrees in the middle of the night, so it would be unnecessarily cold each morning. I’ve stayed in Mountain Village eight times. This was my worst experience overall.

The property had a great location and the local transit system was amazing to be able to use free of charge to get into town and around. The unit was extremely clean and well set up. We felt like we were at home. we will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Great Ski-In/Out

Awesome location for Park City Resort access. Very close to the Bus pickup to get around the town after a day on the mountain. The sauna is nice and hot! 5 stars!

Great experience

My family of 5 had a great experience during our stay. The building was in the most perfect location and everything was easy to access. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with supplies and the bedrooms were the perfect size.

Great apartment, close to ski lifts, outdated facilities

Overall, we had a good visit to Park City Mountain staying at Alpine Haven Retreat.The apartment is clean, spacious, and as-described in the listing. The instructions provided were very detailed to include usage of public transportation.The ski lifts were a short walk away along with many restaurants and stores.The facilities (pool and locker room) are outdated. During our visit, the pool / hot tub were dirty and low on water which meant water wasn't entering the skimmers to circulate and allow the jets to work properly in the hot tub.

Great location!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this property. We chose it for the location and it delivered! It was steps from the slopes and children’s ski school drop off. We also appreciated the pull-down bed in the living room which allowed all of us to sleep comfortably.

Great location and all the amenities you need!

Property manager communicated all information well in advanced and had prompt responses with any questions we had. The location of the condo is perfect for ski-in-ski-out and near ski school for kids, ice rink and restaurants. The condo had all the amenities we needed with plenty of towels, linens and toiletries.

Great condo at the base

We had a great stay at the condo. The property was just as listed and had everything you needed except bath soap, so bring your own. Check in process, directions to the unit were all easy to navigate. Check out process was also very easy.

Cancelled last minute - no help from Evolve

Booked this property through Evolve on VRBO. There was a last minute cancellation due to weather damage at the property. Evolve only told us about on the day of check in, cancelled the res, and did NOT find us alternate lodging. I scrambled to find a hotel for my family and infant. Evolve had TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I do NOT recommend. Also VRBO was NOT helpful during this last minute scramble.

Park City Condo

In general property and location were great. Not truly what I would call ski in/out, but very close. The ski rental place in the building was great. Staff very helpful and just a short walk to ski down to lift. Our issue was with property management. The parking tag left for us was expired. We subsequently received parking tickets totally $103.00 and notice that our car was in danger of being towed. Took several calls/texts and moving our car a couple of times over 20 hours to get this resolved.

Construction

We were not aware of the construction before booking. We understand it has to happen but fire alarms going off, water being stuff off for a day, elevators not working made vacationing with 3 kids under 4 a little uncomfortable. We do love the place and plan to go again but would have at least appreciate knowing a head of time what we were walking into.

Five Stars All Around!

Location, location, location! On-site ski rental, then just a few steps to the lift. The unit is lovely with a well-equipped kitchen. Plusses include: washer and dryer, great towels, plenty of convenient outlets, and then there are the little things: I asked the owner if they provided toiletries like shampoo. Yes, if we requested, which I did. I was expecting those tiny little bottles you get in hotels but no -- there were new, full bottles of nice shampoo and conditioner. Finally, the owner was very accommodating and responses were prompt and courteous.

Family Fun

It was a perfect location for skiing in and out. Kids had a wonderful time on the mountain and at the facilities pool. Great place for a big group to stay at different condos in building! Taylor was always there when we needed him, which was rarely.

Exactly as described

Most important for me was location to the mountain...and it is literally ski in and ski out...2 minute walk from taking my skis off to being inside the room. the gym and hot tub were easy to get to, accessible, and a great part of my stay. The room was clean, having the washer and dryer in the room was super helpful, and a very comfortable place to work out of for the month I was there. There were a few (very) minor issues throughout but the owner was immediately receptive and dealt with them immediately.

Nice and Convenient

Certainly met all our needs, but property is a bit dated and location of unit was difficult to find. Should have better directions to the unit itself. Unit has easy access to ski slope (~3min walk). Would definitely book again.
