Kitchenette is dysfunctional, unit was dirty (rings in the toilets! Trash!), hot tub smelled and had stuff in the bottom so we couldn’t use it safely, refrigerator smelled like it had a dead mouse in it, and several electrical outlets didn’t work. The building entry codes were incorrect in our instructions, so we couldn’t get back into the building after trying to figure out how to get to the ski in and out. I would expect some instructions on how to do that, but maybe it’s just too much to expect. When we called the Apex number, they couldn’t get a response from the property for two and half days even trying emergency response. We had to walk around a long series of buildings and then go through the garage to get back to the unit. Good thing it wasn’t our kids… Apex is a nice condo complex. We have stayed in other units that have great appliances, well stocked, clean, with good instructions. The pictures online did not match the reality of the unit as the pictures were staged, which made the unit look stylish but the unit wasn’t even close to the pictures. We couldn’t even prepare a meal without bumping into the corners of the table or the lamp and you had to go back and forth from one side to the other over and over because it’s so poorly laid out. There were no puzzles or games for the kids and family. In short, we have owned rental properties and would be embarrassed to push out a nice unit like Apex is known for with the accommodations currently in this unit.
