We book VRBO’s in Park City so we can get to the resorts easily, ski all day, sit in a hot tub afterward, cook a great meal for dinner and enjoy a streamed movie. Here is how this property met our expectations.
1. Check-in by phone was simple. John was very accommodating.
2. The garage was a plus; notably since it snowed most nights during our stay.
3. We found some material shortcomings in the maintenance of the property and the servicing of the hot tub. We called these to the attention of John on our first day. He took care of them in short order.
4. In the many years of booking VRBO’s for ski vacations we have come to expect a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This property was an uncharacteristic disappointment. We believe we left the kitchen and its accessories much cleaner and more organized then we found them. Particularly, we do not expect to have to empty the dishwasher upon arrival, wipe down various surfaces and kitchen accessories, or clean out the sink drain.
5. This property is equipped with a natural gas fireplace in the 1st floor den and a wood burning fireplace in the 2nd floor bedroom. (Which is odd.) Based on our previous experiences with VRBO’s, we found it strange there were no directions by the property manager as to their preferred method for utilizing these accommodations. Come prepared if you want to utilize these two accommodations. And know how to operate a gas fireplace without digging for the instructions.
