Kathleen and Ken were very supportive and generous. The house is as described and very pleseant. However the yard is much larger than the photos show as it extends 360 degrees around the house and is fully fenced and safe for our two dogs to romp around. The views are also beautiful in all directions. Its very quiet. If you need to go into town it's a 15 min drive. We look forward to a revisit.

Second visit here

We always enjoy coming here, this was a great weekend getaway with the family. They are great hosts, and very friendly animals for the kids, I highly recommend them.

My son and I had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were lovely and friendly, answered all the animal questions from my son and made his year by supplying bread to feed the sheep. A fantastic place to stay for peaceful, relaxing holiday.

We had a fantastic time at Kathleen and Ken’s farm stay. We absolutely loved the beautiful scenery, sunsets and sunrises, fire pit at night, and of course all the animals. We were made to feel most welcome and would love to return again sometime!

Amazing!

A lovely stay. So thankful for Ken and Kathleen who are extremely hospitable. The farm is beautiful with lots to do, a variety of animals and just perfect to relax and unwind.

Pet friendly

It was a great place to stay we all enjoyed our visit to Parkesbourne. It was clean and tidy with comfy beds a must when travelling. The Hosts were lovely and friendly. Just a pleasure to be around.

Kathleen and Ken provided a wonderful farm stay experience for my young family, with lots of interactions with the animals all over the farm, all day, everyday. We also enjoyed freshly laid eggs from the chickens and cooked yabbies we collected from the nets in the dams. Also, fruit picked straight from the orchards ourselves. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and allowed us to cook our meals each day when we wanted to. I've done alot of travel around the world, and it was genuinely one of the most favourite holidays ever, just a simple, natural way to reconnect with as a family out of our busy day to day lives. Thanks Kathleen and Ken, we will be back!

Really relaxing getaway

We had a great time despite the weather being rainy and windy. Kathleen and Ken were so welcoming and made sure we were looked after and even showed us the animals in the rain. On arrival they had the heater on so the place was toasty which was so inviting. The place itself was very clean and comfortable, it has beautiful views and is very neat. The animals were lovely and getting to feed them was the absolute highlight!

Loved seeing all the animals, especially the sheep

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay there with our small children. The kids were entertained the whole time and happily explored the farm grounds, the paddocks, watched the animals and enjoyed the accommodation, all of which were very clean and tidy. My 4.5 year old especially loved seeing all the sheep and lambs, with 2 new new lambs born on our last morning there - very special ❤️ Highly recommend this farm stay. Thank you Kathleen and Ken for letting us stay there.

The Best time!

We had the best time I went up with my sisters for a birthday getaway. Kathleen is so sweet! They make you feel so welcome and at home, they’re so kind answer all your questions and go out of their way to make sure you’re having a great time. It’s a breath of fresh air and so fun to see all the animals.

Relaxing farm stay

The property was exactly as described! I enjoyed my stay on Kathleen and Ken’s property. They kindly allowed my older dog to tag along and it was really nice to let her roam and be able to stay somewhere with character, access to farm animals, fresh eggs (thank you Kathleen!) and beautiful views. I didn’t want for anything, would highly recommend!

The most beautiful farm experience, especially if you have young kids. My girls are 6 and 3 years old. The girls had a wonderful time experiencing:- Feeding chickens and ducks- Collecting freshly laid eggs- Learning how to milk a cow- Feeding sheep - Patting twin lambs- Pulling up Yabbie nets- Toasting mashmellows over a fire the hosts set up for usThere's a sandpit and cubby house the girls enjoyed. They spent hours outside. The hosts Kathy and Ken were very welcoming and approachable. It is close enough to town we were able to duck into Goulburn for supplies etc... There's a clean and complete kitchen to cook. There were board games, puzzles and toys for the kids. Even though it was cold outside the heating inside kept us warm and comfortable. :) The girls have already been talking about coming back to visit. Thank you to Kathy and Ken for a lovely break. We will see you again. :)

Delightful house on the hill

We had a fantastic time at Kathleen and Ken's place. The house was spotlessly clean, and very well set up and had all the mod cons. Great little kitchen with proper gas stove and full size fridge. Beautiful views over the valley and comfy chairs on the verandah to take it all in. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. We couldn't have asked for more. Perfect place from which to explore Goulburn, Crookwell and surrounds. We can highly recommend it.

Excellent stay at a quiet and peaceful dog-friendly farm

We were very pleased with every aspect of our week long stay at Parkesbourne Farmstay. The rooms we stayed in were very clean and tidy, and facilities such as microwave, fridge,TV etc were all modern and up to date. There was a lovely verandah where you could sit and look at the farm and the sheep and cattle (and a family of ducks!) and watch the sunset. There was plenty of space for our two dogs to run around safely within a large fenced area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Farmstay Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kathleen and Ken’s property. They’re honestly the most lovely, welcoming people. Even without the lure of the farm, they’re enough to make you want to come back again. The farm is awesome, they’ve got a Cow, Bull, Sheep, Ducks, Chickens, Turkeys and a lovely little Puppy which are all super accessible during your stay. Aside from the paddock with the Bull (for obvious reason) you have pretty much free rein to go and explore the entire 25 acres. Ken left us plenty of fire wood for the outdoor fire pit and the heating inside was great. It got to a low of -7 while we were there but we didn’t notice it inside. Kathleen was also super helpful recommending a butcher on the way up where they actually supply some of the lamb themselves. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone who’s thinking about booking. You won’t be disappointed.

Stay at Parkesborne

We loved our stay here! Ken and Kathleen were so welcoming and the kids loved seeing what farm life was all about. Would definitely love to stay again!
