I loved that it was pet friendly, a well stocked kitchen, all the amenities like a washing machine, dishwasher and lots of extras like games, tv and beach towels. Loved the fireplace and bbq and outdoor space as well! We will be back!

A lovely unit, well stocked and private. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog (we scrubbed her paws more than we do at home!) She was so excited to see the rabbits on the trails, and the deer that walked past our back door! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent spot. The space was very cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated. There wasn't anything to hope for! Proximity to the beach is less than a 5 min walk. I would definitely book here again if retuning to the area.

The property has everything for relaxing all year long. It’s in great condition and well kept. Alexis answers questions quickly and is available if you have a problem. We’ve stayed in several of the units at Tanglewood, and they have all been good. I’ll rent from Alexis again.

Such a glorious home tucked away along the mini rainforest of Rathtrevor Beach. This incredible hideaway is not only cozy, comfortable, and stylishly designed, it is so well stocked. The owners have thought of everything! Very thoughtful in their planning. It is a return favourite for us!!

This is the 3rd year we have stayed here and love it each and every time. The World Series was on and the hosts ensured we had what we needed to watch the final 2 games. The kitchen is great to cook in and is very well stocked. The BBQ works wonderfully. The beds are very comfy. And the fireplace is a dream on those cooler days. I look forward to our future stays.

We had a great stay - the place comfortably accommodated 4 adults and two toddlers, plus a dog. Both bathrooms and the kitchen are well stocked. There’s parking for two cars. There’s lots of natural light. It’s walking distance to the beach and provincial Park and a short drive to many beautiful trailheads for hikes. Amenities are close by. It was clean and comfortable.

We certainly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed.A couple of things. The picture showing access to the beach was unfortunate. It is why I chose your place because my sister uses a walker. She was very happy to see access was easy but it was not as the hill was prohibitive and we thought the path was right outside the door. It was really hard for her to navigate so had to find other beaches.Rooms were relatively clean. No body soap in one bathroom and none under sink. The fridge could use a good clean and open jars removed. Butter and half used packages of food was inappropriate. These things don’t bother us too much but one doesn’t know how long food has been there. Kitchen well equipped.Thanks.All

Wonderful property close to the beach and all the activities along Resort Drive. This townhome was very well stocked, everything you needed was there (so thoughtful!) and communication with the owner was great. We were very happy with this property!

Host was very accommodating ng and welcoming. Beautiful vaulted ceiling great for filling and listening to music and eating on the patio. Good for families and children and easy walking distance to beach.Hosted a dog one day and he had lots of room to play fetch outside and walk on a leash on Rathtrevor trails. mini golf and ice cream went to the beach twice a day high tide and lowIt was a great place for walkability.

5 starsWe really enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway! The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for both day-to-day living and beach outings. The outdoor area was a real highlight; peaceful and private, with a BBQ and a lovely view of the forest. We even spotted deer and bunnies right outside, which made it feel extra special. Would definitely stay again!

Family get away

4 adults, 2 pets. And 3 kids. It was bice to stay in parksville and enjoy the beach, mini golf and bumper cars. The condo kitchen has all supplies necessary for cooking we ended up eating all our meals there. No AC was the only downfall, as it was very hot, there are fans and we brought a big fan from home. Short walk to the beach and lots of toys and games for the kids. Grandkids loved the giant tub! Would stay again.
