“We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open! It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly. The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful. “Room was newly renovated and very spacious. Gym and pool were excellent, best gym I’ve ever seen as a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we slept awfully, the hotel/room above us was so noisy. All we could hear all evening and through the night was the tv, banging and snoring. ”

“Stayed here for work. Easy to find, lots of parking and a nice quirky building. Good Bar and great stafff. Room a little dusty. Evening meal absolutely out of the park good- I'll be staying here from now on for this reason alone. ”

“Sue on reception was absolutely fantastic. My only other comment is that the hotel used to have a gym and swimming pool, but these were apparently closed during the pandemic but never reopened.”

“This was our first trip to the UK and first Premier Inn experience. The room was perfectly fine and the free parking and location was perfect to visit Ormskirk and Southport. The free internet was adequate for using maps and googling information for the trip. Did not have to pay for an Internet upgrade ”

“The lady on reception was very miserable not approchable got to room and we had worst view i ever had room 113 auful then heating keep going off so i asked reception by phone for extra blanket as was freezing but said they had none she never even tried to help so was cold night i ”

“Room was very clean as was the bathroom. It had everything you needed and it was all clearly labelled. Kingsize bed was really comfy. Curtains were blackout so no light got through. Situated in a lovely quiet area so there was no noise throughout the night. Throughly enjoyed the room. Had no issues are complaints. ”
