“We had an excellent time. The guest house is near every. Excellent location. Everyone was very nice. Maon (the owner) is very welcoming and helpful. Every day he would provide useful tips. He even supported us on a situation not related to our stay. Lynette and the others were also very nice. It genuinely felt like coming home! The guest was very clean and an excellent breakfast. ”

“Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...

"There is a new trend in hotel design worldwide which this hotel follows and it needs to stop.
Not having proper walls and doors in bathrooms within the room. There is no privacy since the walls are now made of cristal so all the bedroom is illuminated by the bathroom, and the doors don't shot so noise and smell flow into the bedroom effortlessly.
There is no way of going into the bathroom and not waking up other people in the room. It's a nightmare when traveling with friends and work colleagues!
This room even had the shower separated from the wc, so you have to light boxes in the room!"
