“We chose this location as we knew it would be a bit quirky, and it definitely delivered on this. The check in time was chaotic, with only one person and a short time period to arrive, lots of campers without reservations were queueing up to be booked in. Our motel unit had all the amenities we needed, with a full kitchen. The shower was hot, with good water pressure, all good as long as you aren't too tall. “Stayed here for a night before a Doubtful Sound cruise. The location was perfect (right down the street from the RealNZ ferry). The facilities were simple but very comfy. Right along the water with multiple paths around the grounds. Felt like a cool little community with many different travelers. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this area!”
