“Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. "If you´re in the area look no further - stay here! A few steps from the a long beach you will have to yourself most of the time. Wonderful hosts Stuart and Jen will make you feel at home in this modern and perfectly maintained bungalow hotel - they really get what hospitality is about! My son (11) and I enjoyed the friendly chats, great healthy food, good coctails, and the surf lesson that Stuart organized for us. Very spacious, well furnished, comfortable rooms/bungalows with a lot of attention to detail (including finally enough space to hang everything in the bathroom, as well as perfectly filtered water so you really can drink from the tab). We hope we get a chance to stay here again!! "
