We have a UNIQUE LOCATION:
Our chalet it's located on Isla Damas, between the ocean & the estuary.
Meanwhile most of people struggle trying to find an empty spot in a crowded beach in Manuel Antonio, on Isla Damas you'll find a peaceful & secluded location where there's NO ONE , literally just a few locals fishing or surfing, or exercising.

-ISLA DAMAS is A beautiful beach where you will watch the most stunning sunsets in our area. In peace, with no sonic pollution, just you and the sound of the ocean.
We are a few meters away from a Baby turtle release proyect Called "Tortugas de Isla Damas" were if you're lucky you could be able to experience the magical event of a baby turtle releasing or a turtle nesting experience.

-We have the privilege to be located between the ocean and the estuary so if you're lucky, you will find a lot of wildlife such as raccoons, The tayra (Eira barbara), squirrels, opossums.
- Our location allow you to find a huge variety of birds such as Toucans , Aras( Scarlet macaws) green parrots , Green herons, Boat Billed Herons, snowy egrets, Great White Herons, kingfishers , Tiger Herons, yellow-crowned night herons and reptiles such as Basilisk and even Crocs, yes, you read well, Crocs.

We have one special neighbor with babies living in our parents frontyard.
Her name is Tili, it's a beautiful 10 ft/ 3 meters long American Crocodile that came to live in our frontyard, we tried to take her away by catching her and released her 8 km away but it was impossible because she came back 5 month later.

-So since we are a family who respect nature we made a fence to protect ourselves and our dogs. So in this way Tili can´t access to our property but she's free to do what she wants in her pond / cave where she lives since 2018.

-We've learnt how to co-living with her and her babies, we are safe, and our dogs are safe and she's where she wants to live, we don't feed her we just so enjoy her beauty from our fenced property.

As we said before, Our place IS NOT a common place, is NOT FANCY. IS NOT A PLACE CLOSE TO THE COMMERCIAL ZONE. OUR PLACE is more for relaxing AND EXPERIENCING. you have a secluded beach just for you and a few locals. SECLUDED BEACH AND PLACE where you can make many activities such as BBQ , sleep in hammocks , enjoy the stunning sunsets , take walks on the beach, surfing ( but you must bring your own boards), fishing from the shore ( Where we can borrow you some fishing equipment and fresh bait) .
You can have a magical night on the beach with a bonfire and many other beach activities in a secluded and safe place.

-We are only 50 locals living on the Island , This isn't a place full of Tourists, in fact, the only travelers who visit this place are our guests or custumers from our mangrove boat tour experience or some volunteers who comes to work and experiecing the baby turtle release.


On Isla Damas You will have more privacy than other beaches in the area.
There's a 4 miles Beach( 8 km ) with a few locals swimming or fishing from the shore.

Our listing Is surrounded by fruital trees and mangroves where you can see many kind of birds and animals typical of the zone.
WE ARE BETWEEN A BEACH AND A ESTUARY so you will see animals everywhere.
Wading Birds , wood trail chickens, which by the way are too noisy, also snakes ( non venomous snakes) and EVEN Bugs and mosquitos, ( Not always but it's about lucky) AND REMEMBER, WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JUNGLE AND TROPICAL COUNTRY so mosquitoes and bugs are part of our life.

So PLEASE, COME PREPARED WITH LOTS OF SUNBLOCK AND BUG Spray/ MOSQUITO REPELLENT. (Our Chalet has window screens)
We DON´T have AirCon in our Chalet only standing FANS.
You will have Private pool which is a Rectangular Above the Ground Swimming Pool with deck : measures 16ft x 8ft x 42in.

You will have access to our Cabin+ the area we have downstairs with a small area where you can preparar BBQs with our charcoal grill and area to enjoy with your family
Our Pool is quite simple, just an INTEX above the ground pool
We provide full privacy but we are here for you if you need to know details of local attractions ,activities, beaches or additional assistance for your trip, we Will be happy to help you with anything to make your trip a great experience
We also can help you to find the best deals in town for tours, experiences and transportation.
Things that you MUST KNOW BEFORE CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION
-You must coordinate in advance everything about your check in and check out

- To access to our location we MUST use a small ferry boat to access to our location, this works 24/7 and charge only $0.35 or 250 colones each ride)
It's a small river, less than 300 meters.

-You can cross over with your car on the ferry but MUST BE 4WD/4X4 because later on we will drive 2 miles on a beach road to get to our location.
- We provide Free transportation Once (Check in & Check OUT from the other side of the ferry, to our location)

If you plan to be constantly getting out , you can use a taxi service or pay an extra fee for the transportation. If it's in our hands to give you transportation for free, we will. My parents usually have to get in and out of the Island and you can join them.
This is because we have an affordable price and only includes transportation for the day of check in and check out, and sometimes guest might think they can get it and out as many times they want and normally the cost to access to the island its about $10 each ride)

If you come by bus we can even go to pick you up from the bus terminal, take you to a supermarket and then take you to our location

- IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW AGAIN, We are located on an Island so sometimes the ocean destroys our normal routes and we need to do new ones or wait a bit until the water level get lower. ( this normally never affects during the summer but sometimes with king tides or during the rainy season. so we need to plan everything.


- Also don't be worried about this beacuse we have boats and we will find the way to access / get in or out by other ways we just want to let you kn
we don't have supermarkets close so we recommend you to stock up on everything you might need to cook and drink during your stay. ( Also no worries if you forget to buy something, we can help you to buy it during your stay)

- We, use Starlink satellital internet which isn't a conventional one.
- We depend on our electricity and water suppliers so if there's an unexpected problem with this, we can't control it. So we ask you have patience and patiently wait until the company fix it.
We don't usually have issues like this but just to warn our guests to avid any misunderstandings

- We have dogs ( extremely friendly and well behaved dogs)
They won't access to your cabin but they will be around exploring the property, some of them even will be your guide to the beach and to the way Back home and try to protect you.

So if you consider this might be a problem for you for any allergies or no tolerance to dogs, I'm afraid this isn't the right place for you.

Once AGAIN, OUR PLACE IS NOT JUST A PLACE TO STAY.
This is the kind of place you will totally fall in love with or you totally hate it, it depends on the kind of person you are and how open you are to have new experiences.
OUR PLACE IS NOT A HOTEL, NOT A FANCY PLACE TO STAY, IT'S PRETTY SIMPLE BUT WITH ALL WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE A MEMORABLE VACATIONS.
People won't find in Casa Tili a luxurious stay, this place it's for an authentic experience. We want to show the Real Costa Rica, not the plastic options you can find in Manuel Antonio full of luxury, we want you to live an authentic stay with locals.
We have designed and builded our house by ourselves, all what you will find it's a place made with love and with recyclable wood we found on the beach after the storm So you won't find something luxury just a real place made by an entrepreneurs a Costa Rican family with a huge desire of show the Real Costa Rica and of course to learn about other cultures and share about ours.

We know is a lot of information but We just want to make sure that you read adequately all the description and book our place knowing everything about it just to be sure you don´t get dissapointed with our place or LOCATION
