“The house is adorable and extremely comfortable. Both my husband and I were obsessed with the bed and the amazing wrap around porch. Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. Everything about the River house makes you slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of California. ”

“Great stay! Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. Plenty of space for the 4 of us (me, hubby, adult daughter and a friend of hers) to hang out for the week of Thanksgiving. Fully equipped kitchen - and washer/dryer in the garage. Quiet cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood - grocery store less than a mile away. Beautiful beach less than two miles away! Fifteen minute drive to Monterey and Carmel - but we knew that. Overall: recommend!”

“We had a great stay! The host was very responsive, and even had a step stool delivered the same day when we asked if there was one. It was a great home with good space for the kids and short drives to many local attractions (including the aquarium). ”

“Great spot for a large group, easily sleeps 12. Lots of linens and blankets available. If you like white noise or a fan to sleep with, each room has a box fan. ”
