“We were down with family for the Big Sur Marathon. The home fit 6 of us very comfortably (4 adults and 2 kids) and would have been fine with the 2 more adults that were expected to come but could not make it. The kids loved running around in the backyard and we enjoyed an evening around the fire pit. The location is great with the ocean just a few steps away and getting into Monterrey in just a few minutes. Will definitely look to see if this house is available again on our next visit!”

“This in-law unit is nice and cozy, very clean. There is plenty of parking on the street if the parking by the house is not available. Location is close to everywhere you plan to drive to: 30m walk to the beach or 15 drive. Great choices of restaurants 10min away. ”

“The home is absolutely stunning with an amazing view of the Carmel Valley. Beds are comfortable and sheets and towels are good quality. The entire property was absolutely spotless and it in great shape!We really appreciated the property manager meeting us and showing us around which helped us get settled in quickly. Would absolutely recommend this property as a jumping off point for Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur!Great property and great hosts!”

“The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. ”

“My family had an amazing time staying at the Otter Cove beach house! It had beautiful views from all vantage points, and was very nice / upgraded inside the home. It was in the perfect location, a short walk to the aquarium but also next to endless peaceful / quiet beach trails with so much sea life in view (otters, seals, etc). ”
