Loved the land and the home feeling. We were nervouse to cook on a carpeted kitchen but did it. The town of Paw Paw was quaint. Everything was clean and organized and directions for everything. Thank you, we will try to come back when the weather ia warner.

Very cozy cabin in a cute small town with a beautiful view of the lake. Super simple checking in and out. Nice kitchen setup that we enjoyed using (but no dishwasher). We hung out in the gazebo, sat by the fire pit, and had a nice, quiet weekend. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. Our goal was quiet relaxation with a few afternoon day trips. We enjoyed the nearby wineries, lakes and museums. Goal achieved. The cottage met all our needs and was a relaxing respite between activities.

Perfect getaway in Paw Paw! We have family in the area and were in town for a visit with our two small children. We wanted something quiet, peaceful, and private on the lake. This was it! David and Dona were perfect and super accommodating. We all had a blast.

A Sweet Retreat

My husband and I could not have imagined a more comfortable cottage for our base to explore a bit of the Southwestern portion of Michigan on Maple Lake in Paw Paw. The kitchen, living, dining area is open to allow great movement a separate bedroom with comfortable king bed and bathroom with everything needed including a corner shower with strong water pressure. We loved the deck for morning coffee and lovely gazebo as well. We hope to return someday.

PERFECT!

This place met every expectation and finally we can stop looking for the PERFECT spot for our yearly fishing adventure! We stayed 5 nights and that wasn't long enough. We fished from the shoreline and enjoyed catching many good size fish without leaving the property. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. I was able to connect to the smart tv to enjoy streaming from my favorite apps. City water was a plus. The king bed was very comfortable and the split air units kept the cabin a perfect temperature. The firepit was nice to enjoy a cold beer and roast a few hotdogs one evening. The town of Paw Paw has plenty to offer and the cabin has a welcome binder with everything you need to know about local restaurants, places to go, and things to do. Dona and David were perfect hosts. We did not want to leave and we can't wait to return next year (or maybe again this year :)!

Charming cottage

Cottage is the perfect size for two. Close to town. I stayed over Thanksgiving, the owners emailed me to make sure I was aware of a local place serving dinner. I visit Paw Paw a couple times a year to see family and usually stay at a hotel. This was so much more relaxing. It will be the first place I check for availability.

Cozy little lakeside cottage

Really, a photo of this place could be next to the dictionary definition of “cozy.” We had a great visit and it’s in a delightful location. Clean, well stocked, easy to get in and out of. Very quiet and peaceful at night. We will be back!

Great Trip and Fishing!

The cottage had a nice cozy feel to it and had everything you could possibly need for a getaway. The only thing that needed attention was the bush in front of the deck that was overgrown, as it did obstruct the view of the lake. Beside that minor detail the property is well taken care of and is a great place to stay. The fishing is excellent off of the shoreline of the property and the pier that is there.

You won’t be disappointed

This was a great place, even though week stayed a week, it wasn’t long enough. Before our week was up, we were talking about coming back. The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need. The kitchen is very well stocked so you can cook meals. The cottage is pictured as it is. We ate several meals on the porch which has lovely shade. The view of the lake was very peaceful. Great place to do nothing! Thanks Dona and David for making the cottage available.

Quiet, quaint, restful

Lovely little cottage in a small quiet town. This place has access to a nice inland lake for fishing and kayaking. The deck is nice for breakfast and the gazebo is perfect for an evening glass of wine. Great hosts. Very helpful. Would stay again.

Peaceful stay on Maple Lake

We had a great stay at this cottage on Maple Lake. The cottage was stocked with plenty of bath towels, a couple of beach towels, and a couple of camping chairs! There is a lovely small gazebo by the water and we enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the geese and blue herons. The hosts, David and Dona, were friendly, available and responsive to questions, and yet very respectful of privacy! Would recommend!!!

Pleasant Location

My husband and I had a very nice time in this well furnished cottage. Dona and David were extremely accommodating to our unexpected early arrival. Their cottage is stocked with everything you could possibly want. The back porch has a nice view of the lake and perfect place to enjoy your dinner.
