Relaxing and Quiet

We had 3 to 9 elk visitng each morning. The house was quiet and not to far from town. We really enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was awesome. Well stocked, really cool inside, and a nice, quiet location. We really enjoyed the bull elk that hung out in the yard for a large part of our stay. Stacy was super responsive and freely offered early check-in and late check-out. We'll definitely be back!

Spring break getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The home and property were both stunning—peaceful, well-kept, and full of charm. We loved the cute stream running through the backyard and were lucky enough to spot elk right on the property. The location was perfect—just a short drive to town, yet it felt remote and private. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature.

Wonderful property!

Absolutely beautiful property! Wonderful location that accommodated us and our dogs seamlessly. Absolutely everything you need for staying in and close enough to everything in Town for going out. We had elk along with various wildlife in the front yard with a picturesque view. Would definitely recommend to friends and actually already have recommended it!

Awesome

I recently stayed at this cabin and it was everything I hoped for — and more. The property itself is absolutely awesome, tucked away in a peaceful little neighborhood. The cabin was cozy and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay and an amazing outdoors space.One of the highlights of our trip was seeing elk wander through the property up close which new for the kids. So close and calm you could almost pet them. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat with a front-row seat to local wildlife and plenty of natural beauty, this cabin is a gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful home. Great vibes in and around home. Very comfortable. I a big man with bad hips. This home and it’s furnishings seemed to be Taylor made for me. Spacious with solid big furniture. I plan to visit again. Thank you

Great for wildlife viewing

The elk, javelinas and birds in the yard were the highlight.The home needs some TLC.The only blowdryer for hair only blows cold air.The lighting in beautiful kitchen is dim.Showers are luke warm with minimal pressure. The entire home needs a good cleaning.

Cabin Getaway during the holidays

We really enjoyed our family getaway with our adult kids and dog at the cabin. We found it plenty spacious for playing games, meals, and TV watching for the 6 of us. We were not able to locate a toaster or hair dryer but it had everything else we needed. BTW- It is currently for sale if you're interested.

Wonderful property!

Great location in a very small gated community. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos. Everything that you need is on site. Stacy the property manager is great with communication. I had mentioned we were having an early anniversary getaway and upon arrival there was a sweet card and balloons when we arrived. Everything was 5 Star, the only 4 star I have was on check in process. Although the process was seamless the Check time of 4 is a little later than most rentals we stay at and check out of 10 is just a bit earlier than we usually have. Stacy was very, very gracious and did allow us a later check out which was so very appreciated! We had elk in the front yard and other various wildlife that car to visit. Overall an amazing rental and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away in the Payson area!

I have gone into detail with Evolve, the third-party company that set this up.The property was old and very dirty. But the smell when we opened the door was unbearable, seriously, they could have openedthe doors to air it out. It looked like someone tried to wipe down with a wet rag, which made it look worst. Like the broken tv screens were smeared. The towels were old, the place smelled old and musty. The furniture was old, not antique old, we love antiques. This was junk that was new when they bought it in the 90s. The reason we didn't stay, is the vibration in the floor. When we called to complain about the vibration in the floor the host really didn't care, she just said, well let me know if you want to leave. She knew what was causing the floors and bed to shake-the air conditioners that were right next to the primary bedroom window. We had to turn off the air to keep from shaking, which caused me to get nauseated, but the heat caused by sister to have a panic attack. It was just a terrible nightmare. We did leave and we told our host. Please refund us the other night we were not able to stay.
