The cottage was extremely clean and well and very well organized. The owner thought of everything we could possibly need. Location and communication with our host were both excellent . Highly recommend !

Walking distance from the ferry dock, our unit was spacious and bright. There is a modern kitchen but a fine restaurant, the Stone House, is walking distance, too. Dawn the owner is gracious.

Excellent location. Walking distance to ferry, restaurants, gift shop and museum. A short bike ride or walk to the Winery. Amazing sunsets by the fire pit! Host was very helpful.

We had a great stay there. Dawn, the host has been so helpful. They place is probably the best place on the island. Definitely go back and stay there for sure

Great location close to ferry dock and restaurants. Beautiful lake and sunset views from patio or waterside bench. Well equipped kitchen for in suite meals. Very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Easy and quick communications with the host.

We had a wonderful stay at Dawn’s place! I traveled with my wife, our baby, and my father-in-law, and the home was perfect for our family. It was very clean, comfortable, and well kept. The location was excellent — close to all the main activities on the island and just a short distance from the ferry, which made arrival and departure so convenient. Dawn was an excellent host — friendly, responsive, and very accommodating. We’d happily stay here again on our next visit!

We can recommend this property highly. It is spacious, light-filled and spotlessly clean. There’s a clear view of the lake with only the road intervening.The kitchen was extremely well equipped., more so than other cottages we have rented.Most impressive was the host’s communication. She answered any questions we had very promptly and in detail. She took the time to provide us with comprehensive information about food options that were available on the island so early in the season. We want to return for a longer stay during next year’s birding season with the hope of better weather.

Amazing place

Rhis was my first experience with a VRBO and I wouldn't have had a better experience. I would highly recommend this location on Pelee. Stunning views,, easy access, everything and more that we could have wanted. The owner was outstanding and extremely helpful.

We had an absolutely perfect weekend getaway at this charming cottage on Pelee Island! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck, enjoying a glass of wine at sunset, or stargazing under the clear island skies, every moment feels magical.The location is unbeatable—peaceful, private, and just a short distance from the dock. We especially loved the natural surroundings and how quiet the island was; it felt like our own little slice of paradise. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and full of great local tips, which made our stay even more enjoyable.If you're looking for a relaxing, off-the-grid escape with a touch of rustic charm and tons of heart, this is the place. We’re already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to unwind and truly disconnect.

Great stay, great view, great host. For the value it was a great place to stay. Had to bring own sheets but avoid cleaning fee that way and host had some great coffees to choose from #ilovecoffee. Communication was also great (even little things)

The cottage is extremely nice and spotless. The location is also excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.Dawn is a fantastic host and went out of her way to help us sort out the logistics when our return ferry was cancelled. We were very grateful for her guidance.
