The property was exquisite. 360 of incredible views. We enjoyed using the hot tub and extensive balcony at night overlooking the volcano and the covered outdoor spaces in the morning enjoying our coffee and nature. We liked that it was far enough away from the busy town of La Fortuna to get the peace, tranquility, and breathtaking wildlife while also being close enough to the Hot Springs, attractions, etc. The home itself was practical for us as we had seven people: two couples and three young adults. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, which was a plus. Definitely recommend!

A piece of paradise

Book immediately!! Our stay was incredible. The view is incredible and the place is perfect. Very quiet and peaceful! Ron was pleasant and helpful with information. The drive was easy to get to and very private. We will be back!

This is a beautiful place in the jungle. It is really the best view you could get of La fortuna and the arenal volcano. The service was quick and friendly.

2nd Stay @ Pie In the Sky

We stayed here in 2019 as well. Incredible views of Lake Arenal, volcano and jungle with howler monkeys and beautiful birds. We love the Eagle's Nest for a morning coffee and just to enjoy the view. 30 minutes from La Fortuna and 5 minutes from 3 nice restaurants and markets. Will go back again in the future.

Property was exactly as described. Breathtaking view of volcano and lake. The house was beautiful and comfortably accommodated 5 couples. We had a great stay!! I hope to visit again.

Great place to stay in that area.

We stayed for 3 nights and did the volcano hike, hanging bridges and coffee and chocolate tour. 6 adults and was plenty of room. Ate at both Howlers and Fusion which were both good and very close to us.

Pie in the sky

The property was beautiful and very well kept. The view of the volcano and lake was out of this world. Would stay again. Our chef made wonderful meals for our family of 13 each night.

Accommodations were very nice for all. Great pool area and outside under-roof dining area. We had a catered meal one of the two nights. Great time!

Big house with great pool and great view!

We loved our stay here! They went above and beyond to get us checked in after a flight delay. The view is spectacular! The pool and hot tub are perfect! We didn’t want to leave!

Amazing stay!

We had two families and this was the perfect location for our stay near Arenal. The house has a beautiful view of the volcano with an amazing breeze on the porch. You are a 30 mins drive from all the craziness in La Fortuna but have several good restaurants 5-10 mins away in El Castillo. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views

We traveled to this property before Christmas. It was beautiful! Such an amazing property that truly was a unique vacation rental. The property was very private. We saw a toucan on the property as well as many other birds. The view of the volcano was beautiful.

Awesome location, and views

This property is absolutely amazing. Awesome views of the volcano and lake and the landscape surrounding. It is absolutely beautiful. It sits high on a hill without any close neighbors. The area is super as well. Close to restaurants and all the excursions and hot Springs, etc. Some items did not work, however or needed repair. We found plumbing leaks. The safes didn’t work the grill needed repair and it could use a washer and dryer. But otherwise we had a wonderful day.

Spectacular

Property is better than in the pictures. Pool and jacuzzi were immaculately clean. Great views and well appointed kitchen. The supplied coffee was delicious. Monkeys and birds were entertaining. Location close to activities and provided a needed quiet from the fast paced adventure activities. Nearby restaurants were all 10/10. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous estate near Lake Arenal

A wonderful property near El Castillo. Checkin was great. Agustin is the property manager. He took care of little issues with the property AND gave us great advice for activities. The raised gazebo with a fantastic view of the lake was special. The only issue for us is that it's 30 minutes from La Fortuna - where most of the activities in the area are based.

Amazing Arenal Views

What a unique and fun property! Our family of 12 had a fantastic time at El Fosforo. Home was spacious, liked that each bedroom had their own bath. Patio views are amazing, the Bird's Nest was a huge plus for my bird nerd brother-in-law, kids loved the pool and Jacuzzi was a favorite of the adults. 15-30 min distance to various activities and our concierge, Agustin was super helpful with scheduling actives and dinner reservations. Perfect for nature lovers and adventures both!

What a view!

What a fantastic location with amazing views of the volcano and the lake. The outside property and gardens are stunning. The drive up to the property is easy but you do need 4 wheel drive. Inside is a little dated but worked perfectly for our needs. Wifi was great. Beds a little hard for our taste but not too concerning. We would definitely stay here again. Make sure you check out Howlers at the bottom of the hill for drinks or pizza.

Mosca Family Costa Rica Trip

I took my family of 13 including 4 grandchildren to Costa Rica for 10 days. We stayed at the Pie in The Sky Villas for the first 5 nights and were not disappointed. The house and grounds were amazing and the views even better. We were fortunate to meet the owner, Ronald Peterson, after a few minutes he became one of my family. You could not ask for a better host. The location is perfect for any activities you want around the Arenal Volcano. 5 bedrooms & 5 baths, more than enough room for all. Th swimming pool was like something in a movie especially with the views.
