The Museum of Speed, Pendine / Pentywyn Pendine Sands are famous as the site of land speed record attempts. Malcolm Campbell broke the 150mph barrier here in 1925. The museum has 'Babs', the car in which J. G. Parry-Thomas was killed whilst attempting to break the record speed in 1927.

Cove west of Dolwen Point. There are several small caves in the cliffs here. The famous Pendine Sands are just around the headland.

Obelisk on the green, Pendine This is the middle part of Pendine, between the village at the top and the seaside resort at the bottom. From memory, the obelisk commemorates the Coronation of Edward VII.

Room clean, but a lot of cobwebs at the top of the head board. Topper mattress was lumpy in the middle of the bed. Room was only cleaned on day of arrive, bin emptied on second day and cups cleaned. Recreptoon staff and bar staff lovely. Breakfast nice apart from cold coffee and toast.

We had a great family break here. Pentywyn(Pendine) is the most family and fur baby friendly place. The accommodation was very clean and comfy and well equipped with some much appreciated little extras .
