Amanecer en Penguin - refugio de playa

Amanecer en Pingüino es bien llamado como él testigos del esplendor de la mañana frente a la playa - situado a 200 metros del centro de la ciudad ya 30 metros de la playa.

Esta casa de 3 dormitorios (2 camas Queen y 2 camas individuales) es totalmente independiente y se anima a estancias cortas y largas.

Tiendas y restaurantes de café están muy cerca, así como los requisitos licorería.

Hay muchos senderos para caminar por la ciudad y varias playas - 1 hora de Cradle Mountain y geográficamente central en la costa noroeste de Tasmania entre los aeropuertos de Burnie y Devonport (30 minutos) - 25 minutos del Espíritu de terminal de Tasmania.

Rutas de bicicleta de montaña en el dial cercana Gama extienden por 70 kilómetros, con magníficas vistas desde el Monte Montgomery (una caminata de 40 min). Atracciones Hinterland son las cuevas de Gunns Plains, el Cañón Leven, bodegas, terrenos rurales granja, Cradle Mountain y granjas orgánicas especiales como Mt Gnoman Pig Farm.

Las playas están vigiladas por salvavidas durante el verano y muchas actividades deportivas se producen durante todo el año debido a la ubicación central del pingüino.

We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. Penguin is a great location for day trips to Stanley and the north west part of Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive to Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The owner ,Terry , made our last 4 days in Tasmania perfect with not only his charming house but also his friendly nature. Will be coming back to stay at “ sunrise at penguin “ again Thank you Terry

Perfect coastal home

This beautiful coastal home exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything needed for a night, a week or a month's visit...we could've stayed forever. We loved sitting on the front porch looking at the spectacular view Bass Strait We took a short and scenic walk into the town where we ate at Penguin Beer. The next day we had coffee and lunch in town and explored the shops. Our host Terry was so kind and helpful. Our only regret is that we didn't plan to stay longer here. Top notch

The only bad thing about this stay was that I'd only booked one night! Everything about this accommodation was top notch, the decor, the quantity linen, the extra touches, the fantastic view, the comfy bed & super friendly host. I will definitely have this one in my fav list & hope i get another chance to stay here again. It's a great location if your catching the boat at Deavonport. 👌🏡

Gorgeous house in a beautiful location, with outstanding hosts

I cannot speak too highly of Sunrise at Penguin. Right from day 1 when I booked the property, Terry was so helpful and sent great information about the locality. He maintained good communication in the weeks ahead of our arrival, and was available if we needed him to attend to anything once we were in the house. Not that he needed to do much - when we arrived, the house was prepared with everything we needed, and far more than we expected. There is no scrimping on quality at Sunrise at Penguin: the furniture was very comfortable; the kitchen well-stocked; and the cooking equipment of excellent standard. The laundry, too, was well-equipped. The decor was just delightful, with quirky penguins fashioned creatively from various materials placed around the house, which added to the beautiful seaside atmosphere, along with the tasteful paintings. There were even fresh flowers in the lounge, and fruit left for us in the kitchen. The view was just incredible, and the beach is literally over the road. We did not want to leave: Sunrise at Penguin is definitely a place we will return to when we can get back to Tasmania.

Gorgeous home, perfect location.

We loved everything about our stay in Penguin. Terry is an excellent host, ensuring we felt very welcome. The house is very comfortable, has everything you need and more, and the views are just stunning. Short stroll to the shops, cafe, restaurant etc. We will be back!

Fantastic getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Terrys house, we look forward to staying again. The house has a sea view and is really well appointed. It is very comfortable and has everything you need. Terry has put alot of thought into making your stay enjoyable. It is a short walk to restaurants. I highly recommend Terry’s house.

Little Gem in Penguin TAS

Loved it! Contactless check in was a breeze thanks to awesome communication with Terry. He came to welcome us and have a chat which was really nice. View from the lounge room was 2nd to none. Bed was comfy, very comfortable house to stay. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great stay

This is a lovely property so well located with breathtaking outlook over the sea. Terry is a marvellous host and ensured we were very comfortable etc. Highly recommended as a relaxing and well equipped home in a beautiful little town. We had to cut our stay short as the dreaded virus was making our return to the mainland a bit dicey. Hopefully we can come back some day to spend some more time there. Thanks Terry

Absolutely stunningly beautiful

The only reason I didn’t want to leave a review was just in case it meant the property would be taken next time we go back! We only needed the place for one night but wished we had a week there and will definitely return. Everything about the place, the hosts the house the location and the town were just wonderful. A 10/10 stay.

Fantastic place, location close to town centre, view amazing.

The house was simply amazing and well worth the holiday. Both my wife and I loved either sitting in the main bedroom having breakfast in bed or sitting out the front enjoying the total ambience of the ocean. Well worth the stay. Two items I would recommend for the owner that would be nice are; (a) An espresso capsule coffee machine with a milk frothier. Instant coffee doesn't cut it. (b) Better sized pillows, the ones there are either to flat for one or too big for two stacked.
