“The room was clean but overall hotel needs lots of TLC. Only seen one member of staff. He was receptionist, bartender and possibly waiting on breakfast tables, so he was kept going. For what we paid for overnight stay, we have no complaints. Main thing was the room and en suite were clean. If you want 5 star you need to be prepared to pay a lot more than this hotel charges. Overall it did the job.”

“Absolutely loved our stay at The Creggans Inn. The hotel is in a stunning location right on the lochside with ample parking and reasonably hidden secure parking for our motorcycles. The check in was faultless and the rooms immaculate and very, very big with massive bathrooms. The food was really good with a reasonable choice, We rated highly the comprehensive breakfast with ample juice, tea and coffee, Delicious fruit salad, hearty Scottish cooked breakfast and pastries ( although not all in one...

“Very comfortable, good view of the kyles of bute. Lovely breakfast including home-made jam and bread. Most helpful husband and wife team. Nothing was too much trouble for Gabor, who not only sorted out my TV problem but very kindly drove me to the start of my ramble. Highly recommended.”

“Me and four friends stayed at Raj’s awesome Fyne Rooms as a night stop over on our five ferries cycle weekend. Arrived late and soaked - the lovely rooms were a Godsend! Also, Raj lent us the use of small shed to lock our bikes up. Also despite being fully booked up & really busy, Raj and his lovely team Nathan & Tabby(?) cooked us some really tasty pakora and nan wraps. I would not hesitate recommending. Thank you guys, Tony”
