“I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The reality of the island is far from what is advertised:
No Beach: The beach in front of the hotel no longer exists; it has been completely washed away by the sea. Instead of sand, you will find a long line of sandbags along the coast trying to stop the erosion.
Dead Coral Reef: The reef right in front is completely dead. It’s just coral skeletons with very few fish. If you read reviews saying the reef is beautiful, it’s likely from people...
“Trinity Collective was located in a beautiful area. The apartment I rented was spotless! I had all the appliances I needed and getting in and out of the area was super simple (swipe key). Smithfield shopping centre was 10min away, making it easy to do grocery shopping. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone wanting a quiet and picturesque area to stay at while visiting Cairns.”
“Beds were extremely comfortable. Fresh towels each day. Pool area and pool was just lovely but too cold to use for the time of year. Great location to walk everywhere. Room needed some maintenance- alot of the shutter slats were broken and there was no alternative (ie curtains) to pull over the windows. Broken tiles at the bottom of the shower wall allowing all the water to run into the internal wall (not that it bothered us but it should bother the resort!)”
