“Booked this as a last-minute room for a local event. Paid £130 for the room, knowing that I would be sharing a bathroom with another guest. Initial contact was through Expedia messaging where I outlined that I would be arriving late due to disrupted ferry times and if it would be possible to pick my key up after arriving after 11pm. Received a message saying that they could leave my room key somewhere for me to pick up as well as one that said 'You are aware there are no ferries that operate...

“The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?). The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead.”

“Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”
