We came for a girls weekend. The home was lovely! Each room had a theme and the beds had extras (an old fashioned tea cup and saucer with tea bags, beautifully decorated beds, book on the bed, and decorations). The kitchen table was beautifully set, the fire place was on when we arrived, and lights in all rooms to make us feel welcomed. The hot tub was nice with a beautiful big backyard. We wish it would have been warm enough for a fire in the fire pit. We could tell that a lot of time was spent decorating this home and making it feel so comfy. We plan to come back this summer with our spouses to spend a few days exploring all the waterfalls in the area!

The home is decorated in a way that gives a homey feeling. It was also very clean along with having anything we could possibly want. The location was excellent as we needed to be close to town. Unfortunately because we were there for a Celebration of Life we had a lot of things to do and family to see so we did not get a chance to use the hot tub but it is conveniently located. I cannot say enough about the owner. Emails were answered immediately and kindness and courtesy were always shown. Would definitely recommend the property

Our group of six adults stayed at the property for two nights in early August. On our first night, we ended up having no water. I immediately alerted the host and did not hear back for several hours. When they did reply, at 12:30 in the morning, they told us to turn off the hose. We did not have any hose running nor could find any hose on the property. The next morning there was still no water and we reached out via text, email, and phone call several times before finally getting a phone call back. At that point, the host did tell us that he was sending over people to look into the issue. The people that came were very competent and professional and realized that it was a broken well pump. They told us it was going to take several hours to fix, and therefore we were not able to shower and had no fresh water for the day. although I do understand these things happen, there was absolutely zero response from the host as far as monetary compensation, sending freshwater for us, or checking on the well-being of the people at the property.

Awesome Experience

We always read the reviews before booking a property and liked how this one was consistently rated for being notably clean. We also liked the location and proximity to other things to do. We had a wonderful time, the property was as clean as everyone says, and the location was perfect. We especially loved the nice yard and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The owners were pleasant to deal with. Overall an awesome experience!

Pleasant weekend getaway

This was a rural property, but still convenient to many of the attractions in this area of the NY Finger Lakes region. Very comfortable for the two couples and dog that were on this stay. Room for at least two more, but third couple would not have not have close access to a bathroom. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall Good Stay, But Be Sure To Review The Bill

Overall, I had a terrific 3-night stay in the house. It was super-clean, peaceful, well-maintained, well-located and larger than I expected. Also, the host was quite communicative throughout the trip, in regards to answering any questions that I had. I was, however, disappointed in how the billing process was handled after the stay. Essentially, I was overcharged by $90 (which was the fee for a third adult, who I had already indicated was not coming). In fairness, there was a good deal of back and forth in terms of how many people would be staying at the home with me. However, I did confirm the final number of people a day before arrival with the host. Anyone can make an error, but when I raised this matter to the host’s attention, I felt that she initially tried to avoid considering if it was an error on their end (which in fact it was). After some back and forth, the host did ultimately refund the money. However, I felt that the mistake was addressed in an unapologetic manner with the host writing: "Ok. I see now. There was a mix up in the costs. We will refund you." I normally would assume that this was just a mistake. However, because multiple others have raised concerns related to how this host handles their billing, and because there was no apology for the mistake, it made a poor impression on me. If you are planning to stay at this property, I suggest just ensuring that you closely review the post-stay charges.

Finger Lakes Fun

We enjoyed our stay at Morning Dove very much. Pat and all provided a lot of very helpful information prior to check in and was very responsive to any requests for information. It's cozy, comfortable and convenient to Keuka and Seneca Lake wineries, breweries and Watkins Glen for hiking. A nice, quiet, and peaceful area with the hot tub and private outdoor area as a bonus.

Weekend get away

we had tickets to the 6 hours at the glen. We wanted a place close enough to the track but also close enough to all the other things to do in the area. this property was an excellent choice. very accommodating. we would do it again!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Great location, cute place, had everything we needed, plenty of room for 5 adult guests. Martha was quick to respond to all of my questions, Seamless check-in was appreciated given we were only there for a weekend. I will try to get back for a fall wine trip!

Fall Fun!

We are the ‘82 Girls, six high school BFF’s & this was our second stay at Diamond Inn the Bluff, first visit was in 2016. We Love everything about the home & location! Very private but not far from activities. We LOVE the Windmill craft & flea market. The house is cozy & clean & we enjoy the hot tub as an added bonus!
