Sleeping arrangements & bath are similar to a high-end hotel. We spent some quiet-time relaxing on the deck. The only thing 'missing' was an outdoor fire pit. We will return again soon for another visit to history.”

“Marienville is a small town off the beaten path so I was delighted to know this motel even exists. I had one of the small rooms, 1 queen bed, non-smoking. I noticed (before I booked) that some people had complaints about smell, cleanliness, etc. Well, my room was perfectly clean and smelled fine. The bathroom was clean. The bedding and towels were clean. (Maybe a little worn.) Sure the room was small, but heck the place used to be a Microtel. I was there during deer season, and it rained for...
