We have stayed in several Vrbo and Airbnb properties. This was not a positive experience. We did not receive check in info until I requested it an hour before arrival. This message was supposedly sent by Amy. In the check in message there were 3 people to contact with any issues.Issues we found with the home.1. **wires hanging from the ceiling where smoke detectors should be. 2. Internet didn’t work. Got message service voluntarily suspended. 3. Ants coming in under back door. 4. Master bath door coming off the hinges. 5. I don’t know who cleaned the house but there was makeup on towels in master bath. The light fixture in the dining room covered with dust and spider webs. 6. I wouldn’t call the kitchen fully stocked. 1 coffee cup to be shared between 4 people. No spatula for eggs, no bake pan for biscuits.7. Outlet covers missing.After 2 unanswered text messages to Amy, the next morning I called all 3 numbers before speaking to Nikki. She relayed our concerns to Steve who called me back. “Why didn’t I call him??” “Guaranteed I didn’t speak to Amy. He answered my first text. “This is the first I’m hearing about the issues.” “Someone just checked out the day we checked in.” Steve did get the internet running. He came by and installed the smoke detectors. Sometime that evening, unbeknownst to us, someone dropped off 4 coffee cups, putting them on the furniture outside. Had my husband not gone back out and noticed the cups, we would’ve been sharing one cup again.
