This condo has an awesome balcony with amazing views of the ocean! I have never been in October, but this has easily become the best time to come to Fort Walton! It was just me and my husband and the home was very spacious! There would be enough room to accommodate another couple or couple of children! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the unit has carpet. This isn’t a total deal breaker but the removal of the carpet would make this condo a 5 STAR no doubt!

Not worth the price.

We got to the property and there was supposed to be a parking pass in the room which wasn't there. Went to HOA building which closes at 5 and check in is also at 5, so you cannot talk to anyone. Got in the unit and there was no towels, washrags, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Check out time is 10am and they were at the door at 10:01 am.

Great location and amazing view on the beach.

Couldn't have asked for a much better location and the view from the balcony was great. Acces to the beach was amazing and the coordination with local adventures made it really easy to do the things we wanted (at a discounted rate)!

Great Condo!

Spacious and clean condo. Yes, it’s an older unit in an older building and could use a few updates BUT it was absolutely perfect for our group of 5 adults. Kitchen was well stocked, bed linens were nice, plenty of bath towels, lots of storage area in closets etc... The balcony is awesome - so big with a perfect 180 degree view of the beach. Saw Dolphins every day. Low density building makes for easy parking and no crowded elevators! Property management was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely book this unit again.

Great View and Location

We loved the view from the large deck/patio. Everything you need is just a walk away - AJ's, Stewbys, Waffle House, Tom Thumb etc... The view is amazing and unit was clean. Everyone we encountered on the property was nice. Also has covered parking! Just needs a little updating. Very old fixtures, fixtures and carpet. A few of the sinks and showers did not drain well. Smells and looks like my Grandmas house. But still was well worth the money!

Great Spot

The property is in a great place. We enjoyed that this area was not near as crowded or busy as like Destin or Panama. The A/C could have been a little better but that would probably be my only negative thing to say! Next time I think I will try to stay on the first couple of levels....so I don't have to carry stuff up stairs or use the elevator. We will definetly be back to stay at the surf dweller again!!!!

Great Beach Vacay

We love Okaloosa Island and stayed in this condo for 5 days in October. The whole process from the time I booked it was seamless. The property managers were great to work with and were very accommodating. The unit is an older one and could use a few cosmetic updates mostly in the bathrooms but it was clean and great functionally and had everything we needed. It is one of the largest 2 bedroom units I have seen and had great furnishings. The balcony is huge and offered beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable. The beaches weren’t crowded and of course amazing! This location is close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The Surf Dweller was quiet and seemed family oriented. We would definitely stay here again.

Location great, but...

The location was perfect and accessible to shopping, dining, and beaches. The unit’s carpets weren’t the cleanest with debris visible under the furniture, but otherwise very clean. The toilet in hall didn’t flush properly, the pool was not accessible the first day, the garage disposal didn’t work, nor did the ice maker. Maintenance came out and quickly fixed disposal .The clothes dryer took FOREVER to dry clothes and the thermostat didn’t work so it was a freezing 61 degrees inside at most times. The building was very close to the beach with multiple toilets easily available. Great parking, working elevators, and friendly guests! Would love to come back, but maybe would prefer a more modern, updated unit.
