We love staying at merry moose so central for all our walks and wineries plus great restaurant UPPside just 500meters south with great food and they do takeaway but merry moose has great provisions so fantastic and the wood fire is great when it’s cold but there is aircon too it’s a relaxing house lots of games too

Merry Moose in winter

Merry Moose is a great place to stay for a few days in the Clare Valley. Modern amenities, wood fire and all the provisions you could want, and really well located between the local settlements and wineries.Traffic noise from the adjacent main road was the only downside which might affect some, but otherwise highly recommended.

Fabulous Stay

A beautiful place to stay - great location for exploring the valley. The Merry Moose is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean.The bed was extremely comfortable for a great night sleep....everything is fabulous Highly recommend.

We stayed for a weekend get away and on arrival we were greeted with the most amazing property with chilled vibes and relaxing atmosphere.We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast items supplied and how well the shelves were stocked. One of the best places we have stayed at in a while.We all agreed it's worth another visit!!!

We loved our stay at the Merry Moose! Beautiful home in a lovely and handy location. Breakfast supplies are also a lovely touch. The fireplace was very special for those chilly nights!

Comfortable stay at the Merry Moose . Tastefully decorated, conveniently located. Spent a very happy three days there. The host even added breakfast provisions. Thankyou for the Clare Valley hospitality , very impressed.

Merry Moose - amazing accomodation!!

A very memorable stay at Merry Moose. Every detail was perfect – the location, the warmth, the feel, the personality, the quality furnishings & linens, the fireplace in ready-to-go set up and how well-appointed the kitchen is. Location location location

The B&B was amazing so clean huge 2 double bedrooms with enormous ensuites the living kitchen areas are amazing and the stocked pantry and breakfast supplies blue us away. A 5 minute walk to Uppside Restaurant was excellent especially the Tapas on Sunday afternoon. Also Sevenhill Hotel you can eat in the cellar and they have a shuttle bus food was excellent as well.
