Driftwood Cottage is a light and airy house with two large bedrooms and family bathroom. It offers all the comforts of modern living but with the character of a quintessential Cornish cottage. Tastefully decorated and furnished with all the amenities required by a busy family, with great thought given by the owners to ensure a comfortable stay is had by all. Quality bedding, bed linen and towels are provided along with a welcome tray.
Wander in at ground-floor level to find a large welcoming kitchen/diner, suitable for preparing family meals or whipping up a picnic to take to the beach. Comfortable lounge with smart TV and games suitable for all ages. Upstairs is the master bedroom to the front with king size bed and sea views. At the rear is a double bedroom. There is also a family bathroom.
Driftwood Cottage is just a couple of minutes walk to the beach, harbour and one of the best restaurants around, The Old Coastguard, you can’t get much better than that! With an enclosed garden you can also enjoy al fresco dining and watch the sunset whilst the kids safely play on the lawn. There is also a utility building that houses the washing machine and dryer as well as providing excellent storage for wetsuits, buckets and spades and essential beach games.
An enclosed garden and granite walls are just some of the characteristics that give Driftwood its charm, and it’s village setting, sea views and fabulous location, just moments from the harbour, beaches, village centre and fabulous eating places make it the place the choose for your holiday, whether that is with your family, partner or friends. This property also welcomes dogs.
Mousehole offers 2 sandy beaches and a pebbled beach with rockpools galore to explore! It also features the newly refurbished Mousehole Rockpool, a large shallow 20thCentury tidal pool great for families with kids or wild swimming purists with stunning views across Mounts Bay towards St Michaels Mount. This beautiful ancient fishing village is renowned for its history in the Art world, steeped in character and charm that has mainly remained unspoilt for centuries, with its narrow streets and cobbled lanes surrounding the picturesque harbour. Particularly magical at Christmas with its famous Christmas lights, it attracts visitors from miles around to enjoy the spectacular display and soak up the atmosphere. The village hosts numerous art galleries, potteries, excellent restaurants (The Old Coastguard, 2 Fore Street to name just a couple) pubs and a village shop and post office.
